Alive & Thriving Caturday : Decluttering & Kitty Feature || AATYr5 || Prompt A Day 😊
It's that time of the week to enjoy another night of escape 😆 I do wish I have a longer day off. I'm excited for my day off, but I'm honestly feeling a little low tonight so I will keep my kitty feature brief. I know that Grumpy deserves more, but I'm feeling a little sad when I looked at the kitty photos tonight. I guess I can feature her story in parts. After all, we had her for five years before she went missing over a year ago. 😔
Caturday Feature
Grumpy had her second batch of litter -- Xin, Nian, Kuai, Le. I had this special box made for them. This was back in the days when there were less folks in the building. The kitties were safer then. I was happy to see Grumpy learning to take good care of her litter after she lost her first batch of kittens. I'll just feature more of the kitties next time around. This was back in 2021. We lost Kuai in 2023 and Nian this year. 😔 I guess the pain is still fresh so... 😔

I'm going to be writing this based on my own personal experience. The before photos were from years back. I look at it and wonder how we ever lived in such a cluttered flat. 😅 I remember that I intended to declutter back in 2017 but somehow the whole year passed without my having accomplished anything. I finally got started in late 2018. The flat looks much spacious now but I feel like I still need to declutter some more. I honestly feel much better when I've managed to get rid of a lot of the clutter. I miss my mom but she's a bit of a hoarder. I don't blame her. It takes a lot to let go of things that meant a great deal to you. I had to go through some paradigm shift in order to learn to let go. I'm also glad I discovered Marie Kondo and got to read her concept of spark joy. I have a lot of stuff still left over from the old days and I've been procrastinating in clearing them out. 😂 I will get there somehow. I'm simply taking my time. I know I can do this as I've done a lot already. I also do them in parts so I don't feel emotionally drained after each activity. Decluttering is a process and a long journey for me. I'm still in the middle of it. One thing for sure I've been mindful of my purchases since I started on this journey. 😉👌
It's finally my day off again. Five days into the month now. I will be recharging tonight for my therapy session tomorrow. It's the last treatment for now. I plan to sign up for follow up in a month or two.
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I'm now almost halfway to $8 on LL. I hope to reach that soonest till I reach the payout of $10.

I totally get that feeling, sometimes you just need a little escape to recharge.
It's okay to feel a bit low; those emotions are valid, especially when thinking about something as special as Grumpy.
