Don't let your mind bully your body !
The hindi song "Hum Kale Hain Toh Kya Hua Dil Wale Hain" became very popular in 80's due to its social relevance and positive message that values humanity beyond skin color. The main message of the song was that someone's color doesn't matter, what is important is their heart. This was a strong and positive message in the social climate of the time. In todays people are often found bothered about their appearance and lose their self confidence.
There was a time in my childhood, when I used to be in fatty club. Many people used to laugh and make fun of my bulky appearance. But I never cared of what they say. I always believe in myself and manage to do everything of my own. Being comfortable with our body is crucial because it improves our mental health and self-esteem, allows us to live more authentically, and can positively impact our physical health. Many a times individual, may feel bad of their body and take some drastic step. In my opinion, it is the gift of nature, and we should value it and accept it as it is than valuing public opinion.

Few days ago, a young boy killed a 56 years women who used to apply image filter to look good on her social media account to befriend the young boy. On knowing the reality, the boy took the extreme step. I believe, if the women remain true to herself, she would never lost her life, neither the boy would coerced to commit the crime. In this social media age, people often like to present themselves in attractive way. Images in magazines and online are frequently edited, posed, or otherwise altered to present an unrealistic standard of perfection. But in my view every body is unique and we should feel proud of it. There are fat guy, there are short guy, there tall guy and many more appearance. Our body is unique to us, and this individuality is a strength, not a flaw. Our body enables us to engage in activities we enjoy, such as trying new sports, learning, and connecting with friends and family and doing many things.in life.
Embrace our beautiful self
For decades, mass media has promoted a narrow and often unattainable ideal of beauty, leading many to feel inadequate or to believe their bodies are "not good enough". To counter the unrealistic, and narrow beauty standards promoted by media and society, which often fuel stress, anxiety, and poor mental health, Body positivity, is gaining popularity. Body positivity is not just a personal feeling but a collective effort to foster a culture of acceptance, respect, and empowerment for everyone. It emphasizes that every person's body is inherently worthy of respect and care, fostering a positive body image and mental well-being by valuing what a body can do rather than just how it looks. Body acceptance is a process that takes courage and time. Be patient with ourself and celebrate small steps toward self love and appreciation.
Society doesn't define your beauty
When it comes to public opinion, we should care to a healthy extent about what people say, particularly from loved ones and people whose opinions are constructive, but avoid overemphasizing other's opinions, as they often reflect biases and can dictate our life if taken too seriously. It is crucial to distinguish between beneficial feedback and harmful gossip or opinions, prioritizing our own values and well-being while maintaining social harmony and strong relationships. Allowing other's opinions to control our decisions or change who we are is detrimental and can lead to a loss of power over our own life. It is important to be objective and remember that people are often concerned with themselves, and their negative thoughts may not be as significant as we assume.
In good faith - Peace!!

Exactly the point. Public opinion should not matter in us accepting the body we are created to have.
And I love this too
Gift of nature not from the public
That's true...every human being are different and we must respect each of them.
Yeah... Perfectly put out in your article
Thanks for sharing 😊
This is a strong message. I wish everyone would take this to heart. Why look for perfection when they are already perfect just the way they are?
There is a phrases in our local dialect that states that too...generslly we refer them while looking for bride in an arranged marriage....it is dictates to look at the nature and quality of the person than looking at the beauty. Beauty may be temporary but the inver-self is the true identity of the person.
You're in great shape man. Congratulations!
Society can never define our beauty,we all have our preferences regarding what beauty should be so i totally agree with you....
