My first mushroom post of 2025....
Moving places means you lose your old mushroom spots and have to go outside and explore in the hope you find new spots .
Well this post will show you that i managed to find some nice spots in my new area .
All images are taken by me with my Sony A7IV + laowa 25mm FF F4.5 1:2 macro and / or Sony FF 24-105mm f4 G OSS .
All images are from the past month , I didn't expect to find any mushrooms mid summer but here we are .
I've tried to identify them with the help of google , so if you see any wrong named shrooms let me know .
1 ) Pleurotus pulmonarius / Indian oyster
2 )Ganoderma applanatum / artist's bracket on the tree trunk of an old beech
3 )
4 ) Scleroderma citrinum / common earthball they were all over the place
5 )
6 )
7 )Coprinopsis lagopus / harefoot mushroom
8 )Phaeolus schweinitzii / velvet-top fungus
9 )
10 )
11 )Suillus cavipes / hollow foot
12 )
13 )
14 )Fomitopsis betulina / birch polypore
15 ) Russula cyanoxantha / charcoal burner
16 )
17 ) Amanita pantherina / panther cap
18 ) Imleria badia / bay bolete
19 )
20 )
21 )
22 )Punctelia / speckled shield lichens
23 ) this one still needed to get above ground
24 ) and finally a Scleroderma citrinum / common earthball that i found yesterday .
That is all for today , i hope you liked the digital tour.

I heard that in France, you have to take the wild mushrooms to get them tested to ensure they are safe to eat. Do you have to do that where you live, or can you just eat what you find, like in the USA?
Nice photos!!!
I'm not a forester so i leave what i find , there is already a shortage of mushrooms here and people can actually get a fine for harvisting from nature .
