Fly To Hive Creator Days .:. BuzzParty 2025
The night before traveling somewhere is always rough... As I always prepare my bags in the last minutes, working on my laptops until late at night, there are always only a couple of hours for sleep... This time, it was even worse... As there was a complete blackout the day before, I couldn't check flight tickets until the electricity and the Internet came back... It was already late at night, and there were only 4 hours left for sleep...
The alarm on the clock went off at 4:40 AM... It was time to get up and hit the road to the airport, or better said, to the parking company where we reserved a long-term park for the next 6 days... As of the previous day's circumstances, when we arrived, the QR code reader didn't work, and the ramp didn't go up! It was close to 6 AM, and there was nobody around! Luckily for us, the mini-bus driver saw was and explained that we had to go to another parking lot, where we finally parked our car and hit the road to the airport with a van... Only a few minutes more and we are there...
We heard that in all this confusion with electricity, the airports in Spain were functioning surprisingly well! When we arrived at the airport, it was all as usual... As you can see from the photo above, only 1 flight was canceled, which had to go to Barcelona, while the rest of the flights were flying on time...
Our plane was waiting for us and we were almost the last ones to board the plane... The flight was on time, and I think that we took off exactly in minute on time!
... and we landed 20 minutes BEFORE planned! I had even time to take a photo of the plane at Linz airport!
As there were no flights directly to Graz on days that were suitable for us, we landed in Linz and stayed there until the next day... (writing these lines from the apartment in Linz!)
We got an Uber, which took us to the city center where we booked our accommodation... This was our first time in Linz, and the biggest difference that we noticed was that everything was SO GREEN!! Of course, we are in the middle of Spring, but in part of Spain where we live, it's almost RED all year... 😂
We were lucky that we could leave our bags in the apartment before the official check-in, so we could go out and explore the city!
In this short post, I have shared only 3 photos, but no worries, I have plenty of them in my mobile phone... 😂
As I have lived most of my life in town at the banks of river Danube, it was interesting to pay a visit to this magnificent river here in Linz! The same water that passes by here will pass by my town in a few days... The first thing that came to my mind is to send a message in a bottle to my parents... 😃
Speaking of that, a small bonus song for the end of the post...
Stay tuned for more info from this year's @BuzzParty, #HiveCreatorDays, which will begin in less than 48 hours! Tomorrow, we are traveling by train to Graz, and we will probably get out in the evening to do some "pre-event" meetups! 😃
Thank you for your time,

Have a marvelous time. I'll be sitting home trying not to be envious! ❤️
Thank you! 💜
I heard that there will be a live streaming of the presentation... So, you can take a peek at the event! :)
That will be awesome! Keep us informed!
If they don't catch it, I can at the pancevački Bridge.
I wish you a nice gathering and I hope for interesting posts🙂
Hehehehe... We had a small incident on the bridge and almost sent a cyclist by the Danube... 😂
Thanks for your curation!
I'm in for those pre-events hahahahaha.
"It's always red" oh gosh I get it!
Wow you arrived just in time for the flight, in the end the problem is not the airports but the rest of things that do not end up working well, I was distressed just reading about the parking, I imagine how you were there.
What a nice idea of the water that will then pass through your town, I love that song also, your message is the good vibes you send with this post!
See you soon :D
We should arrive in Graz around 3 PM, will take a rest, and maybe we could go out for a drink in the evening ;)
See you!
It was bad luck mate. My friend is also in Spain now for holiday, and he couldn't send me even a photo due to the blackout.
It was bad luck regarding electricity, but in the end, everything went well on the trip... So, we were more lucky than unlucky... :)
It sounds like a hectic day. I guess things don't always end up going as you plan. I am glad you were able to get onto the plane in time though and that your flight wasn't cancelled.
Yup! Happy that everything ended well!
4 hours of sleep? Oh man how can you stand still like that lol
That's normal green BTW 🤣 do you have the kids with you?
I'm here with my wife and a friend... No kids this time :)
It's good that everything went well despite the blackout. Nice city, the green vegetation is always appreciated and even more if you normally see little of it. I wish you a day full of good times. Saludos y gracias por la buena música 😉.
Oh, this reminds me I haven flown in... ouch, months!
See you here in Graz!
The days before a trip are the hardest days man, I even wrote a post about it. I have a hard time sleeping those days, I have to convince myself before I leave XD I'm happy that the airports are working well, I wouldn't want you to be a sufferer.
This is quite an adventure! Good to know that everything was as usual with the Airport and the flight went smoothly. I think this is one of the things I love about Spring, the greenery is so vibrant in many places. Have a great time at Graz :)
How many people are joining Hive Creator Days ? Can you share a little more on that.
I can see all the green as well, it looks like a place where you can make an ad for global warming. However, why is it red in your part of Spain? Is it from the flowers or from the soil?
