Stake House Den- How to Sell Cards in the Marketplace and My Progress Update!

The Hive ecosystem is constantly expanding as a great platform for games. As a matter of fact I was first introduced to Hive through Splinterlands. I didn't get involved in posting for quite some after I started playing, at first it was to earn more crypto to help fund more in game investments. Then I began to appreciate all of the friendships I have cultivated and began to grow my account. I recently passed 10,000 HP all earned organically, which really got me excited to grow my HP ever higher!

A couple weeks back I decided to jump in to Arcade Colony after seeing @libertycrypto27 and @giuatt07 playing and it looked like a lot of fun. The game that most caught my attention was Stake House Den. I've always enjoyed casino games (and casinos for that matter) so it felt right up my alley. So far the game a really fun!

In my last couple of posts I talked about basic gameplay and getting your feet wet in the game. Today I want to share an update of my progress, and to share how you can profit by selling your cards on the marketplace. For the basics to get started in the game you can check my post on the subject at this link.

I did increase my staked COLONY tokens from 20K to 30K to get a slightly higher reward multiplier. I'll continue to add more weekly to increase my earnings, as the more you have staked, the more you can earn.

Let's dive into the marketplace for Stake House Den! Once on the homepage of Arcade Colony just hover over the MARKET and select STAKEHOUSE DEN. I have circled it below in yellow.

That brings you to the market place to buy or sell cards for the game. In this case I will be putting up a gold foil 7 of Diamonds for sale. However, if you take a look at where I circled the 24 hour volume you can see is very low. In this case no one has been buying in the last day. Hopefully, this will improve as more people get involved in the game! You can see all cards offered for sale at the moment on this page.

In order to sell a card you need to click All Cards where I have circled in yellow below, that will bring up all cards in the game.

Here you see many cards in shadow, meaning they aren't being sold at the moment by anyone. Simply scroll down and click on the card you wish to sell.

In this case it's the gold foil 7 of Diamonds. You can see none are for sale at the moment. I'll change that in just a few clicks!

Simply click from For Sale to Owned

Then click the box to select the card then push the symbol I have circled in yellow.

That will bring up the sell box, you'll just have to enter the amount you want to ask like I did below. In this case $4.99 is the price I'm asking. Then you just click sell.

It's that easy, you get a confirmation and wait until someone decides to buy your card. Easy-peasy!

Here I have a screenshot of the cards with the highest asking prices in the game currently. My friend @tengolotodo pulled a red gold foil joker when he was getting started. Asking price on one of those is $349! But remember, it's asking, it doesn't mean someone is going to be willing to pay that amount. Then again, they just might if they want it badly enough!

Now For Some Gameplay

Let's move onto some gameplay now, the best part of the game. Currently there is roulette, black jack, and slots. I understand poker will be coming shortly as well.

First off don't forget to go to menu and enter the fridge to claim your Hot Sauce. It's the currency you use to play the games and is earned by staking your cards you pull from packs or that you purchase.

And as I explained before last post, just claim your Hot Sauce below. I'll be starting this round with 627, you'll see that when I start gaming. I forgot to screen shot that amount before I started, sorry!

Roulette

First I played one round of roulette, the best odds are betting on black or red. But I felt a little crazy and took a four corner bet on 16, 17, 19 and 20. Not the safest bet but better than choosing one single number. I bet 10 Hot Sauce and spun the wheel.

I lost rather badly as you can see below. That's why I don't play roulette very often!

Slots

Next up one round of slots, not because I like it, but to give you an idea of how it goes. I bet ten Hot Sauce again and spun the reels. I ended up with two cherries and a watermelon, so I lost!

Black Jack

Then I moved onto the game I enjoy the most, black jack! Here I started to bet 50 Hot Sauce per hand. The first hand the dealers up card is six. I have two nines which adds up the eighteen. In a casino I would stay right there, but you can split them by betting doubling the Hot Sauce bet. Normally my rule on splitting pairs is only aces and eights, but with the dealer up card I decided why not?

So I split and after hitting the first one I got twenty and stayed. The second I ended up with twelve. But with the weak up card on the dealers side, I stayed so the dealer would have to take the risk of busting by going over twenty-one.

And that's exactly what happened, so I got two wins!

Another hand where we both had twenty-one so it ended in a push.

Another interesting hand when I had eleven and the dealer an up card of five. I had a total of ten so I opted for a double down, essentially doubling the amount you bet. You then get one card more, and one card only.

Fortunately, I got an eight which beat the dealers seventeen!

When I exited black jack here were my earning for this session. Not too much, but my COLONY stake is still low, so my staking factor is still really low. As I stake more that will improve!

And then I checked the Leaderboard to see how I was faring. Number eleven, not too bad for having a fairly low COLONY stake! That was a fun black jack session, I'm looking forward to having poker to play as well!

That will wrap up my post for today. I really am enjoying this game so far, it's a lot of fun! If you have any comments or questions please feel free to leave them below. Thanks for you support everyone, I greatly appreciate it. Have a great day everyone!

I've always liked blackjack, it's a lot of fun! If the games are successful it only going to help Hive. I'm mainly doing this game for fun though, I don't expect to make any real money off of it.

You get a lucky streak going you might be able to power up a bunch of HIVE one day!

I think I would need to stake a lot more Colony for that! It's the equivalent of SPS, I'm really not playing Splinterlands anymore though.

I had a heck of a no win streak on the slots when I first played that I won't do it again and just stick with blackjack here.
It's great to see you storming up that leaderboard!

That's why I won't play slots or roulette! I would need a lot more staked Colony to really move up...

Okay so it is all about the Colony? Do we get anything for staking it

I'm not sure to be honest. I haven't seem to have received any interest or any thing else. I do get to claim less than one Colony a day for having some SPS staked in Splinterlands still.

Oh so staking SPS gets you Colony too. Makes sense I guess as all part of Arcade Colony.

Hi, it's great to be able to sell gold cards on the market and make a profit.
I love playing roulette, but it seems like the house has the upper hand.
The slot machine really eats up the bets.
While "Blackjack" is the game with the most strategy and the best chance of winning.
Nice games, my friend.😀

Thank you! I'm playing this mainly for fun, I'm not expecting huge profits. Maybe the gold foil will sell at some point, but there isn't much action in the marketplace as of yet. When more players join in I'm sure things will pick up. The game's brand new.

Blackjack is the only one that I really like playing because I have a strategy. The other two are all random luck!
