My Week in Review for August 2, 2025, Finally Achieved 10K HP!

Most of the time I like to start out these Saturday posts with some chat about BTC, ETH, and Hive prices. However, today I finally crossed the finish line achieving 10,000 HP. The best part is that it was done organically, and it's a great feeling. Thank you so much to all of you who have supported me along the way, you're all great friends!

As part of the Saturday Savers community I had set a primary goal to achieve 10,000 HP by the end of the year. I arrived a little faster than anticipated, no complaints on my part there however!

Hive Power

This year's primary goal is to reach 10,000 staked HP. Mission completed!

Where do I go from here, I haven't quite yet decided. I think I'll take a week and enjoy my accomplishment before deciding on any new goals! I can place this goal officially under completed goals next week!

PIMP

My secondary goal of the year. It's a great token that is backed by both BTC and physical silver. I'm slowly heading for 100K!

Instead of staking my new PIMP earnings I'm keeping them liquid to place in liquidity pools to increase my earnings!

LEO

This goal I finished up before LEO tokenomics 2.0 kicked into effect, and I'm glad I did because I picked up most of it inexpensive. I've changed strategies on this coin as well, I'm now delegating to leo.voter to earn LEO tokens daily. I have noticed I am earning less on my posts however.

PIZZA

This was nice to finish up. I get 15 tips a day to use as a bonus and occasionally a curation as well!

DUO

I expect to pick up much more DUO in the coming six months, I picked up quite a few this past week. The next section will get you more info on DUO, it a great token to invest in!

DUO

Coming up on a year ago now, I started a token project with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman called DUO token. If you stake 200 DUO you receive daily Hive dividends and a curation on your quality posts once a day. For those who stake 500 or more you are able to tip someone else's post with some DUO, in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well. The more DUO you stake, the higher your daily dividends.

We have opened up another day to offer guest posting on our @duo-curator . Just check the last update post for details on how to participate. It benefits newer authors as they can earn more and get more exposure. We are also about to start our first campaign to recruit new members. I'll share more once the plan is finalized.

PAKX

I am continuing to delegate to @pakx to earn more PAKX tokens (and soon will increasing the delegation), and continue to seek out good deals on Hive Engine to increase my stake. This is a great project where every PAKX is backed by two Hive, and as the project grows the amount of Hive backing each PAKX will be even higher. Holding at least ten tokens earns you daily Hive dividends and the ability to use the PAKX call to tip another Hive community member's quality posts.

It directly helps support the Hive Pakistan community to recruit and retain new talented authors here on Hive which is a very positive goal in my mind!

EDSI

I'm continuing to delegate 2500 HP the @eds-vote . Not only does it earn me EDS tokens but offers curations on quality posting. This has been a huge boost to my account and I would recommend it to anyone!

EDSI: 161.264 (80.5% complete)
Goal: 200

I'm making slow and steady progress towards 200, I may have to buy a few before the end of the year to achieve this goal. Plus, EDSI pays out liquid Hive dividends weekly which is always welcome.

CCD

I have over 500K CCD staked and am slowly increasing that number. For holding the 500K I can claim two free HSBI every week which is a nice perk. Those with one million staked can claim a free HSBI daily, also those who hold 100K can claim a free HSBI every month. This week I didn't have any free Hive to pick up more, but likely will next week!

I do delegate HP to @cryptocompany to earn free CCD tokens as well.

Precious Metals

The market for precious metals continues to be bullish. I mentioned rhodium looked good last week, and it's up $1,000 per ounce this week! It was up $1,500 but gave back $500, I'll talk about it more below.

Platinum

Platinum is a precious metal that has been somewhat ignored over the last few years! It has been surging this year due to supply shortages that don't look like they can be resolved any time soon. This is a critical component in catalytic converters in petroleum powered vehicles to reduce pollution as well as it's use in jewelry. It suffered a bit of a correction by $80 this week, but will likely rebound just as gold and silver have been doing in the last trading day.

Silver

It was a rough week in the silver market. But things are turning back around. With market improvements it looks to be regaining some more steam. I've invested in silver ever since I was young and am a firm believer in having a nice stack of silver in your possession! It is true wealth unlike fiat which is just paper at best...

Gold

Gold had a bit of a rough week too with a sharp turnaround and the end of the week. $3,400 is likely again in the next few days and $4,000 still looks like it's going to happen by the end of the year. World instability is certainly helping to fuel this, and worries of World War 3 are playing a role in this as well. Gold is a physical form of wealth that will always have value!

Rhodium

What a week rhodium has had, a gain of $1,150 dollars per Troy ounce, only to correct back down to $7,000 per Troy ounce. Keep your eyes on this one, because it may yet be preparing for a very big move up the charts. There is very little rhodium produced in platinum mines, mainly in Russia and South Africa. It's one of the rarest precious metals. It is also a key component in catalytic converters. Just a few years ago it was almost $30,000 per Troy ounce. Over the last year it has been making slow but steady gains and may be getting poised for another run up to the stars. The rhodium rocket is looking like it may be getting ready for another push to $30K!

Every week I like to share a good deal I've found on precious metals. Today I have one for those without much to invest, the one gram silver bars. You receive a random one gram bar, and get better price breaks the more you buy. I put a link under references if you're interested.
