It's been over a month since my last post about Golem Overlord. It was June 26, 2025, when I shared my gaming activity and a brief focus on the market value of the ANIMA token, which is the native token of Golem Overlord's PvP mode.
Golem Overlord is a Hive-based game that has two game modes you can play: an idle mode and a **player vs. player autobattler mode **called Conquest Mode.

I play both game modes, but anyone who reads my posts knows that I prefer games with player vs. player dynamics, which is why I prefer the strategic Player Vs Player game mode in Golem Overlord, the Conquest Mode.

In my opinion, Overlord is one of the best idle games on the blockchain scene, and Conquest Mode is a fun and very well-structured game mode.
Behind Golem Overlord is a single creator/developer who, in my opinion, has proven to be very, very talented.
The problem with the current Golem Overlord is that there have been no recent updates or development progress.
In fact, the last announcement dates back to December 23, 2024, and the last change to the game dynamics dates back to March 11, 2025.
While I hope that the game creator will return to develop and improve his game, I continue to play Golem Overlord in both game modes.
I have made some progress in Idle Mode, and in the next image you can see my game statistics.
My next upgrade goals will focus on Power, Faith, and Golem Charging Station stats, and I will maintain a quantity of Scavenger Golems >= 200.
As for my favorite way to play Golem Overlord, at the time of writing this post, season S25.08-1 is underway in Conquest Mode, which started about 18 hours ago and will end in 14 days and 6 hours.
To date, I have played a total of 1,084 battles in Ranked Play in Conquest Mode, with 628 wins and 456 losses.
I'm not a top player, but I manage to rank in the top 50 of the seasonal leaderboard in almost every season, and I've received a seasonal reward for several consecutive seasons.
In the next three images, you can see the rewards I received in the last three seasons.
I've only played 6 battles this season (5 wins and 1 loss), but the season just started today.

In the game session I showed you in this post, I played a total of 6 battles.

Regarding my results in the last season that ended in Conquest Mode, season S25.07-2, my final ranking in the seasonal leaderboard was 33rd place.
As an end-of-season reward, I received:
- 1 Tactician Trove in which I found Silas the Witherer
- 25 ANIMA tokens = 0.54 SWAP.HIVE
Considering that there have been no recent events or updates, and after reading the [post](https://peakd.com/hive -146620/@stradaxlaliberta/my-adventure-in-golem-overlord-is-the-end-of-go-engita) by @stradaxlaliberta, I have decided to change my investment strategy on Golem Overlord, which is now completely focused on reaching the break-even point between costs and revenues.
I still see a lot of potential in this game, but my future decision on whether to sell ANIMA tokens or buy and upgrade my golems will depend on and be guided by:
- the future value of ANIMA tokens
- the number of active players
- future updates.
Today, I transferred all my ANIMA tokens from my in-game wallet to my Hive Engine wallet, then sold 200.55 ANIMA and earned 4.33 SWAP.HIVE.
In Conquest Mode, I invested 316.24 SWAP.HIVE, which I used mainly to purchase Golems crates.
From the sale of ANIMA tokens, I earned 59.54 SWAP.HIVE
To break even, I need to earn another 256.69 SWAP.HIVE, but more than achieving this goal, I hope that the developer of Golem Overlord will return to creating events and developing new updates. In that case, I would resume investing in Conquest Mode because it is a game that I like and consider fun.

Golem Overlord Conquest Mode: La mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi + I miei risultati stagionali + La mia strada verso il punto di pareggio.
E' passato molto tempo dal mio ultimo post su Golem Overlord, era infatti il 26 giugno 2025 quando ho condiviso la mia attività di gioco e un piccolo focus sul valore di mercato del token ANIMA che è il token nativo della modalità PvP di Golem Overlord.
Golem Overlord è un gioco Hive-based che ha due modalità di gioco a cui è possibile giocare: una modalità idle mode e una modalità autobattler player vs player che si chiama Conquest Mode.

Gioco a entrambe le modalità di gioco ma chi legge i miei post sa che preferisco i giochi con dinamiche player vs player e per questo motivo prerisco la modalità di gioco strategica Player Vs Player di Golem Overlord, il Conquest Mode.

Secondo me Overlord è uno dei migliori idle game presenti nel panorama blockchain e la modalità Conquest Mode è una modalità di gioco divertente e molto ben strutturata.
Dietro a Golem Overlord c'è un unico creatore/sviluppatore che secondo me ha dimostrato di essere molto molto bravo.
Il problema di Golem Overlord attuale è che non ci sono stati aggiornamenti e progressi di sviluppo recenti.
Infatti l'ultimo annuncio risale al 23 dicembre del 2024 e l'ultima modifica alle dinamiche di gioco risale all'11 marzo 2025.
Mentre spero che il creatore del gioco ritornerà a sviluppare e migliorare il suo gioco continuo a giocare su Golem Overlord nelle due modalità di gioco.
Nella modalità Idle Mode ho fatto diversi progressi e nella prossima immagine puoi vedere le mie statistiche di gioco.
I miei prossimi obiettivi di upgrade saranno focalizzate sulle statistiche Power, Faith e Golem Charging Station e manterrò un quantitativo di Scavenger Golems >= 200.
Per quanto riguarda la mia modalità di gioco preferita su Golem Overlord nel momento in cui scrivo questo post è in corso la stagione S25.08-1 che è iniziata circa 18 ore fa e terminerà tra 14 giorni e 6 ore.
Fino ad oggi nel Ranked Play del Conquest Mode ho giocato in totale 1084 battaglie di cui 628 vittorie e 456 sconfitte.
Non sono un top player ma riesco in quasi tutte le stagioni a posizionarmi nella top 50 della leaderboard stagionale e sono diverse stagioni consecutive che ricevo una ricompensa stagionale.

Nella stagione in corso ho giocato solo 6 battaglie (5 vittorie e 1 sconfitta) ma la stagione è iniziata solo oggi.

Per quanto riguarda i miei risultati nell'ultima stagione conclusa nel Conquest Mode, la stagione S25.07-2, il mio piazzamento finale nella leaderboard stagionale è stato il 33° posto.
Come ricompensa di fine stagione ho ricevuto:
- 1 Tactician Trove nel quale ho trovato Silas the Witherer
- 25 ANIMA token = 0.54 SWAP.HIVE
Dato che non ci sono stati eventi e aggiornamenti recenti e dopo aver letto il post di @stradaxlaliberta ho deciso di modificare la mia strategia di investimento su Golem Overlord che adesso è completamente focalizzata sul raggiungimento del punto di pareggio tra costi e ricavi.
Continuo a vedere molto potenziale in questo gioco ma la mia scelta futura se vendere i token ANIMA o se acquistare e potenziare i miei golems dipenderà e sarà guidata:
- dal valore futuro dei token ANIMA
- dal numero dei giocatori attivi
- dai futuri aggiornamenti.
Oggi ho trasferito tutti i mie token ANIMA dal mio in-game wallet al mio Hive Engine wallet e poi ho venduto 200.55 ANIMA e ho guadagnato 4.33 SWAP.HIVE.
Nel Conquest Mode ho investito 316.24 SWAP.HIVE che ho utilizzato principalmente per acquistare i Golems crates.
Dalla vendita dei token ANIMA ho guadagnato 59.54 SWAP.HIVE
Per raggiungere il punto di pareggio devo guadagnare ancora 256.69 SWAP.HIVE ma più che raggiungere questo obiettivo spero che lo sviluppatore di Golem Overlord ritorni a creare eventi e ritorni a sviluppare nuovi aggiornamenti e in quel caso riprenderei ad investire nel Conquest Mode perchè è un gioco che mi piace e considero divertente.

Mi spiace davvero vedere GO andare così alla deriva... ultimamente non so neanche se continuare a vendere i token che ottengo, perché il loro valore sta scendendo sempre più e il guadagno ottenibile è sempre più basso. Anche solo qualche aggiornamento ogni tanto sarebbe potuto essere sufficiente per mantenere l'interesse verso il gioco non dico alto, ma almeno un po' acceso, in attesa di tmepi migliori; così invece sa veramente di gioco abbandonato a sé stesso...

Si, concordo, è davvero un peccato ma questo è quello che può capitare quando un gioco è gestito da una sola persona che nel caso di Go è davvero bravo e di talento ma spesso un team con più componenti sprona gli altri e inoltre sopperisce agli altri quando qualcuno ha troppi impegni...cmq spero che questo gioco abbia un ritorno di fiamma ma solo lo sviluppatore può produrlo.

I'll confess I have not put much effort into Conquest Mode, but that is because I simply can't figure it out.
Everything seems so random and difficult to follow, I just submit a team and , what happens, just happens, I don't feel like I'm driving any strategy apart for Tank/DPS/Healer and that seems to be a bit hit an miss.
I agree GO, is a fantastic achievement by a very talented dev, and given how polished and slick nature the rest of the game is ( I play every day), I'm just left feeling confused by conquest mode, so I just don't play it.
That a pity, I'm sure I'm missing out, but this game mode really does need a good tutorial or some in-game instructions ( if they are there I can't find them!)
You're absolutely right, the conquest mode isn't easy to understand because there are so many golems and so many different abilities. Perhaps it would have been better to start with just a few golems, and I also agree that an in-game tutorial explaining the game mode would have been useful.
What equipment do you have now for the base game?
