Still recovering from surgery

Four weeks have past already since my surgery where they removed my appendix and a little extra , a calcified tumor .
So now i have a scar from the top of my belly button straight down 20cm / +/- 8 inch

Some movements still hurt a bit but not as bad as it was 4 weeks a go after surgery.

And we still sleep a lot too , but for the rest i'm feeling great as long as i take it sloooooowwwww like a sloth

sloth GIF

For now i'm able to drive the wife to work again and pick her up again , but in the early mornings it's to dark for photography the sun starts to rise when i get back home again .

1 ) sun rise from the balcony at home at 105mm

2 ) sunrise from the balcony with 24mm

So before i pick the wife up from work i park the car and snoop arround a bit hoping to take some pictures without walking to far , movement is good but not to much.

So here are some flowers that i found while snooping in the area .

3 )white Hydrangea

4 ) blue Hydrangea

5 )multi color Hydrangea

6 )lilly

7 )yellow flowers was coverd with flies

8 )budleia

9 ) white Hydrangea big flowers

10 ) back at the car waiting for the wigfe to get ready from work

11 ) looks like there will be more rain hope the wife get's here soon , so that we can make it back home again before the rain.

Hopefully we can soon make longer strolls again to find more things to photograph , and i hope to get my reputatation up to 70 this month and maybe even hit the 5000 HP level after 8 years , who knows .

All images are taken by met with my Sony A7IV camera and my Sony 24-105mm F4 G OSS lens .

Recovery always goes slower than we wish. Listen to your body and you'll soon be strolling around again with your camera.

Hi, @stresskiller, happy day.
I am glad that you are in much better health.
If I didn't read wrong, you had said in the post you made in the hospital that it would be about 6 weeks of resposo, so have patience and calm down.
The images are very good, the flowers look great in urban places.
I was struck by the yellow flowers, full of flies, something strange, that it was only there, maybe there is a nectar or something fell on the flowers whose okor caught your attention.
I hope you get better soon, but at least now you go out a little to take and pick up your wife.
My best wishes.
Freedom, peace, health and harmony.

Glad to hear the pain is easing and you’re back to short drives. Sloth speed is a legit recovery plan and it beats rushing and regretting it. That goal of 70 rep and 5000 HP after 8 years sounds within reach if you keep this steady pace. Did your doctor share a rough timeline for when longer strolls are safe?

the doctor did mention that recovery in total should take 6 weeks so i count on 8 to be safe .

That sounds like a smart buffer. Treat week six as a check in and week eight as the green light if your body agrees. Those short dawn shoots and easy walks are perfect to bridge the gap. Got a spot in mind for your first longer stroll when you feel ready?

This is quite a surgery to go through.

I admire how you’re still finding beauty around you and sharing it with us, even while recovering.

The hydrangeas and lilies are just lovely 🌸🌼.

Please do continue taking it slow like you said, healing well is more important than rushing back into things.

Wishing you full strength soon so you can get back to those long strolls with your camera.
