The Great I AM
The verse of the day is from John 6:35 in the Bible app. It says...

When I was reflecting and reading from a commentary, it dawned on me that there may be a key part of this verse that's overlooked by some people. Everybody focuses on Jesus' claim to be the "bread of life" and that those of us who believe in Christ will never be hungry or thirsty again. He's speaking to people who have come to Him looking for another miracle...free food! (Who doesn't love a free meal!?)
However, one of the main parts of this verse is the fact that this the first of seven "I AM" statements by Jesus in the book of John. These declarations mirror Exodus 3:13-14 that says,
"But Moses protested, 'If I go to the people of
Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors
has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’
Then what should I tell them?'
God replied to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the
people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.'
Jesus explicitly declares that He, Himself, is the One sent by God.
Eternal life is found only through belief in Jesus Christ.
But that is not all He is saying. He is also declaring that He is God
He was letting the first-century Jews, familiar with God’s definition of Himself, know that He truly was God incarnate, the Messiah they were waiting for, the Most High God in the flesh.

I'm growing in Christ daily!
John 6 vs 35 is a powerful verse, yes Jesus Christ is the bread of life, to whose ever that is thirsty and hungry , not just thirsty and hungry of the body No but of the spirit man, No wonder the Bible says in Matthew 6 vs 5 blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty not for food but for righteousness for they shall be filled , therefore righteousness is the food of the spirit .
The commandments in the John 6 vs 35 is simply coming to him . Thanks
