The right company is very important in this life journey as believers. Many Christians neglect the company of like-minded believers and go in search of people who have a totally different faith, and believe with them.

We are not neglecting the fact that making or associating with people who are not Christians is possible, but there needs to be a balance to it. Even the Bible says, 'Iron sharpens iron,' so you can't be metal and want to be sharpened by wood it won't work.

As a Christian, if you don't have someone who can pray and study the Word with you, there's a problem. If you don't have a Christian-minded friend who can fast and stay with you, encouraging you when challenges and situations come knocking, there's a problem.

Build a Christian community wherever you go. It's far beyond just people from the same ethnic group expand your borders. Trust God to help you meet good people. I attended a conference a few days ago, and before going, I prayed to God to connect me with people.

I was very intentional about making and building godly relationships, not just for the present but also for the future. And to the glory of God, I met people who were passionate about the things of God and understood their purpose on earth.

They were also conscious of their future. I was happy to meet and connect with them. They weren't from my ethnic group, but we shared the same sonship because we are children of God. Trust me, our relationship is growing stronger and stronger. Trust God this week to lead you towards making quality and purposeful relationships.
