Who We Serve!

I am pretty sure I have shared this story over the years on the blockchain...
If not, the #bible911 chapter and verse for today inspired me to write about it again. So if it's your second or third time hearing this...Apologies :)
Let me talk to you guys about Jongo in his previous life....
He had it good.
I came from a single mother upbringing, to being a high school drop out, to finding my calling around 30 years of age. And then the magic happened...
I was at the right place at the right time in internet history. I discovered internet marketing nd got very successful in a short amount of time. Things were going great. I was making more money in a day than most people do in a week or two of working a 9 to 5. And I felt like I ws on top of the world...
Or at least, that's what the public might have thought.
Deep down, I was depressed!
I had all the money in the world, but every relationship I seemed to friendship and romanic, all fell flat. Simply because I attracted the gold diggers and people that used me for my money. I thought I was being generous, but what I was really doing was 'buying' peoples company and friendship.
So yeah I was in a real rough place...
In today's chapter we look at Psalm 27:
And check out verse number 2....

Wow, I sure could have used this over a decade ago lol
A reminder that the wicked never win. And I'm not saying, these people that 'used' me were wicked. I attracted those kind of people, and they were just playing the cards they were dealt. But a reminder.....The world never wins!

I mean this whole Psalm is loaded with nuggets on how to deal with the wickedness of the world. But this verse here is the apex of the chapter if you ask me. The promise!
This is the God we serve, and this is who we need to focus on and keep our eyes on....Every single day!
Our Salvation. Our King! Our Lord!
A just got home from the week long trip on the road, so this isn't going to be a super long post. I caught the flu yesterday and plan on resting and relaxing for the next few days. It's Sabbath after all, the perfect time to remember who we serve and who created all of this.
I hope you guys have a great weekend and God willing, I'll see you all tomorrow on the 'goals' post :)
