Trying Another Gado Gado Cart

Ok here we go again, another foodie post from me. I am still not in a good shape anyway, however I have got better from yesterday. Thank you for your kind words you guys have left in comment on my last post.

So I try to get a better food this time. Better in term of nutrient content. I pick Gado Gado or Indonesian Traditional Salad for my lunch. I would not tell more about Gado Gado because I have made several posts about it.

Bottom line it is a mix vegetable salad with peanut sauce as the dressing.

This gado gado cart is very near to my office but it is not the place that I frequently order gado gado for my lunch. There is no Beelzebub buddy here, my beloved lunch buddy that I recall well @mintymile spotted him in my pics last year... or maybe two years ago, I could not remember for sure when it was.

The presentation is totally different. This spot use paper food for the plate and there isn't any table here. So either you use your left hand to hold the plate, or you use one of your leg to support it lol.

The price is cheaper too, about 20% lower. This guy still sell gado gado at 1 USD. So it has better presentation and lower price, so it's a no brainer that I should go to this place next time, right? Well, hell no!

There are two reasons why, first he doesn't provide any table. With my current condition, it feels uncomfortable eating without table because I have to be active both hands while eating my food

The second reason, which is actually my main reason and I believe everyone here will automatically agree with my decision... It is the taste. Honestly the taste is lame. Sorry for being rude, I prefer to be honest here, this guy food is lame.

So my conclusion is simple here, I prefer to come to my regular spot again later. I might drop once a while to this place, but not in regular. I am a person who easily get bored with what I eat, so even for the same menu, I need to visit different outlet just to reset my taste.

Anyway whenever you order Gado gado from street food cart, make sure you ask for an egg, unless you are a vegetarian. They usually serve without an egg for cheaper price, and I do not know why many people prefer that way. Man, You need protein from egg, I know there is peanut sauce there but the protein from that sauce won't suffice your body needs.
