The Cheapest Real Burger From Chained Store

A few week ago I wrote something about burgers. I like burger, but not from a certain fast food franchis. I prefer to get street food burgers if they are available. The main reason is simple, because the price gap between them sometime can be more than tripled.

However I really do not want to compare one brand to another one directly head to head, although I have to admit that sometime it can not be avoided. Without mentioning any name, sometime our talk will become too abstractive that most people will hardly get what we are talkign about.

Anyway about burger, In Indonesia there are two major Franchise which is McDonalds and Burger King. Despite Mcdonalds selling their burger cheaper, I think the cheapest fast food franchise burger should still be Burger King.

In term of real burger, Burger King has more decency in serving them, that's why I rule out McDonalds Burger and say Burger King might be the cheapest. I can not eat McDonalds Burger despite they are selling the burgers cheaper. I am stingy you know, so seeing cheap food is like having a mood booster for me to eat them lol. However It doesn't mean their food bad, I like their fried chicken, spaghettis and Ice cone better than Burger King's however It is not for their burger.

In term of taste, I prefer Carl Jr over Burger King, but as I write this post, Carl Jr is in revamp, a few years ago they said good bye and left Indonesia market however recently I hear that they are trying to restart their business again. I have no idea if their new store will sell the same as before, or perhaps better than before or maybe they will be worse. None has known it yet.

Ok let's get back to my burger. Here mine and let me open my Burger, so you can know why I say Burger King is still a real burger. You can see that there is a tomato slice there, some pickles, mayonnaise and cheese. There are some onions too but you can not see those in the picture. There isn't any lettuce there, although I recall during my childhood all burgers must have some lettuce inside.

That is why currently this is the least burger I can accept. It is hard to eat a burger that only have bun and patty only. Some say they are selling cheeseburger but they only add some liquid cheese onto the patty.

You have to dare put your veggies into the burger, and challenge your customer to eat them. Many stores avoid it because handling vegetables is more difficult than some buns and patties which you can just freeze them, and even noobs can handle them. Having more ingredients other than Patty and cheese is how a burger should be, or at least that's how Asean Burger should be LoL...

Anyway, for the last point. I think this burger is a good presentation about how a burger should look like. I hate seeing a burger that too soft or a burger made by toast or bread. That's a Sandwich not burger!I hate seeing a bun which has no sesame seeds or having them in number that you can count them with your finger. Come on lah, don't be so stingy.

So please tell me, in your place, do the chained burgers do these thing too? Or maybe in reverse? Please share them down in the comment.
