Age Will Make Us Taking Vitamin and Supplement Like Eating Rice

Recently I read @davidke20 post on Asean Hive Community and I felt like I was reading my old HIVE posts. There were days that I had problem just to walk without walking stick and there were days I could not even type well without feeling numb and pain in my hands.
Well many can be said or suggested for those situation. You could blame people for having bad life style, from activities to foods, or you could blame your own mistake that put yourself in harsh and over pressured condition. You can blame others, yourself or anything here.
You could suggest what we should do, from doing regular sports and healthy activities, or joining some health clubs. You could even suggest what medication or therapy should be taken. Or maybe give a ban list of food to be avoided... But it still won't solve the problem instantly anyway.

I am not trying to be smart this time, because I believe everyone have their own conditions and challenges. For me what matters is what is left behind, or the aftermath... My case might not be a sad one but I have some supplements, and I have to take them on daily based. If I start being a smartass and trying or forgetting to take them, I will end up having some of my symptoms back.
So like it or not, I take this supplements as if I have to eat rice everyday. If I do not eat, I fall sick. That's all.
What I Take Daily Right Now
There were days that I had to take several pills and capsules everyday, and those excluded medicine I had to take from doctors. Right now when I have no illness or bad autoimmune symptom, I only take two supplements or vitamins. one in the morning, and another one for the night time.

For the one in the morning, I take this multivitamins. There are plenty of Multivitamins out there, from the cheap one to super expensive one and sadly there are not many different in the content, mostly the brand decides the price.
I like this brand but not for the HABBATUSSAUDA variant. Once a while I will change it with some local brand named Renovit. Both of these product are cheap, one capsule costs me less than 0.3 USD, so in a monthly based I only spend less than 10 USD for this one.
How can I know these two are the best for me? Simple, I have tried many brands before, especially during Covid-19 because the Vitamins supply were scarce so we sometime bought anything that we found on the shelves. So after years of taking various brands and types, I could say which ones are good and which aren't at all.
You need to try it for yourself too, because some cases what is best for me might not be good for you. Our body are different so there might be compatibility factor there.

For the night time, I consume this one. Actually I do not have problem at all with my bone, what I need is the Magnesium. I am no longer in stress right now, because it might have gone beyond that. I could not talk the detail here, but I have lost muscle mass, losing appetite, nausea, and I could not sleep at night due to over fatigue and cramps from doing nothing.
I picked this product a few months ago and it worked well until now. So I could suggest you to read more on the content, because I saw this product had better content than the product which was sold as stress relieving supplement for having Magnesium + Zinc + D3 + K2.
My consideration trying this product is the brand. I often use the brand so I think I feel secure consuming them. The price is cheap too, less than 0.3 USD per tablet. However the size is big so It's a bit intimidating to consume it.
For the night time, I suggest to avoid anything that have Vitamin B. Some people including me having difficulty to sleep after taking it.
What I Have As Back Up
Actually I have taken more than two recently, but I do not take the rest regularly everyday. Only those two as the regular. The others? they change from time to time...

I have these three on my desk, which mean recently I have consumed them.
The first one is vitamin C, of course this is the basic. From December 2025 to February 2026 we had non stop rains for days. I could not afford any illness that time so I had to take extra vitamin C in the day.
Deep Sleep Extreme... This is a gummy bear candy lol, to help me sleep. I took melatonin and some sleeping aid OTC medicine, but I knew I could not rely on them for more than a week. So I got that one, as supplement, to help me sleep. Recently I consume the CALCIMAG so I no longer need to take this one regularly.
The last one is Noni Trend. In my country, Noni name is not quite familiar, we know the name of PACE and Mengkudu better. A friend gave me this, it helps me for my hands and joints when Gout or Rheumatic symptoms were spiking up. I do not take this one anymore, because it gets emptied and I prefer to get the local product in form of tea or juice.

I have been on Blackmore's calcium and b complex for sometimes now. With the current medication, I am temporary off from those omega oil.
honestly I could not take omega oil. I have tried several times years ago, they gave me nausea and most of the time I ended up threw up.
All my family took it and only me who had that problem. So I gave up on them, not for me.

Nice post, vits. K2 and D3 are a smart thing for everyone to take in my opinion. I've been taking them for years! Just read a study out of the UK recently that showed that elderly people who take a multivitamin a day show a genetic age four years younger than those who do not. So there may be some wisdom to taking a multivitamin a day!

The comparison to eating rice daily makes so much sense; consistency matters most. It’s great you’ve found a morning/night combo that works. Did you notice the effects of magnesium on sleep fairly quickly?

I know magnesium will help sleep, but I do not believe it is a quick effects. They need time... days... and it is more like helping easier to get good sleep in general !BBH !ALIVE !PIMP
