VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK32|HALLELUJAH BY LEONARD COHEN (COVER) BOBBYDONES AND KAYOR

Hello hive it's been a minute here,

This is our submission for the Vibes Web3 music competition week 32, I collaborated with @kayor, and we covered the song “Hallelujah” originally by “LEONARD COHEN”

MY THOUGHT ABOUT THE SONG

Hallelujah by LEONARD COHEN, is an interesting song that could get one in their feelings although, it's a religious song that he wrote about his Jewish heritage many years ago. It appeared that the later version of the song which supposedly gave the song more recognition was more spiritual and people even found it sexual. This reason for me is why I like the song because I don't have to stay with a stereotype whenever I hear the song, it could be this to me this minute and makes me want to read my Bible the next minute, this again for me amongst many other features is what I'd say make a great musician.

KAYOR AND I

It wasn't even our intention to do this song at first, we were rehearsing an already agreed song when we stumbled on this while listening to karaoke on YouTube and the song did its thing again. We tried one or two takes to get our tones right, put our blends together, and importantly the synergy. It was of course after a long day of school activities but yeah, we had to make it happen and we honestly hope that you like it, looking forward to seeing your honest reviews.
