The seeds of dreams have been sown
The silken sheen of the silken silken tree
Holden in a fist amidst opposing winds
In waiting tears of the soul
Have washed the frame of the mind
And made an alpana of desires
The heartbeats have sung brand new songs in the rhythm of waiting

The entire past falls asleep
Deep within the future awakens
The mind plays a duet with the seasons
In waiting
There are silent sounds of gentle light
Of being closer the shadows of feet
And the pleading call of the palm
In the sockets of the eyes
The light of love begins to settle
That an entire sun-world
Glows deep within
In the aching silence of waiting
The echo of arrival flashes
Floats into the void There is a melted liquid intimacy that begins to dissolve
the music of memories
shadows of touch in the eyes, in the breath in the sweaty palm
waiting like a swallow hanging against the nest in time,
I keep my dream elbow-deep in place like a beam fixed, eyes fixed piercing time
