Silver: Panic or Stay The Course?
A lot of people are fixated on the price of silver. Sure, we all want to see the value of our silver go up. At the same time, it's important to keep in mind there are several factors at play regardless of what happens to the price.
If you were to look at this 30 day price chart you'd think silver was in trouble.
Supply Deficit
People will try to downplay the fact that there's a continual deficit in supply. Demand is still far outpacing it, and it takes years to bring a new mine online. There's been a deficit of over 40,000,000 ounces since 2025, and that's expected to increase to over 46,000,000 this year. (Source)
Increasing Demand
Until the industrial uses decrease, demand will continue to outpace supply. Solar panels, electronic components, missiles and data centers continue to need silver. Until we see some sort of bubble burst, demand isn't going away. (Source)
Now look at the one year chart. I don't see a price concern. I see that despite all of the shenanigans the COMEX and LBMA have pulled to suppress the price, they can't keep it down. It's still fighting to break past $60/ounce.
Eventually, the paper traders trying to suppress the price will fail. Real demand beats fake paper in the end. It's just a waiting game at this point. I think the next time it breaks out, it'll climb even higher than before.

"Maintain course and heading." but I used my summer DCA purchase into paying off my Property Tax and Home Insurance. BTW, my property Tax is up 10% and I think that's the real Inflation rate. And we told the Inflation was 3%, in another 10 years at that rate my family will taxed out of our home.

Yeah, 10% or more depending on what you're buying. It's all part of their plan that we'll own nothing and be "happy."

We've waited so long for silver to go back over $50.
Am i supposed to panic now?
I could have bought a 10oz silver bar from CostingCo for $777, good thing i didn't bring a stack of $100s with me that day.
I only recommend people do their own research and buy what they can afford, with the understanding that price could still go down. In the long run, it's still a better store of value than fiat.
You'll likely find better deals online than what Costco offers, unless you're getting some sort of cashback deal.

50¢ under spot for junk silver
Honestly, you might be able to get junk silver even cheaper. Most stores and refineries are paying like 40-60% back of spot. You could probably put an ad out for 20% under and meet up at a police station or something for the deal.
