Oh man I loved running these contests for years, unfortunately HW called it farming and nuked most of us running contests. HW said it was not legit post and was reward farming. He seemed to imply tough luck when you pointed out you won. Very odd behavior and bad look for a first tike try. As someone who would play I rather not support this. Seems like reward pool fishing to me. Isn’t that why you stopped? You were told by HW contests are spam? This guy didn’t even spend 5 minutes on his post. You checked every detail and you get punished? Hive is turning out to be a weird place. I regret buying all my HP at .10 cents. This place seems doomed and on way to a penny. Yes it was. Not being a dick , just bringing a very big mistake to ur attention. I know this game well, I had 40 guesses a week at peak and I had to check every single one was in by cut off. It took me a hour at its peak to make the post following week. This was a first time low turnout, you definitely need to include more details and lock this thing down, or you’ll have people citing spot prices different then urs since u don’t cite what ur using and they will demand u pay them. I know you’ll pay me first place prize, I’m not worried about that, I’m trying to point out some things that will cause u massive headache in future. I know we had a silly argument months back but I’m trying to help u here, Please read the longer comment with suggestions, if u don’t change format ur just gonna get fleeced and so will the people playing for fun. It’s value and there are accounts who do nothing but try to game hive contests, to them it’s worth doing for a nickel. Just at least put in a cut off so winner isn’t just who looks and copies price at 4:59, u need a dead week in between, also cite source for ur price. People see 5 different spot prices and will complain. Trust me, at least do these two things, otherwise within 3 contests you’ll have 20 spam accounts all leaving copy & paste guesses last 20 seconds. I ran these for years, trust me bro.
And Karris is most honest person here, she obviously like me assumed it wasn’t for today price as someone could just be last and comment 10 seconds b4 close so not her fault at all, but u counted guess hours after u said it’s over above? U didn’t even check times? Now u know it wasn’t easy when I was running these things 🤣. If u run these regularly , as I did on mine , get nothing but spam account comments, if u don’t have any time in between last guess and date of price for guess, u are just going to encourage scammy accounts to post one minute b4. Obviously Karris just guessed thinking it was for next weeks price, but u are creating a magnet for spam and scam accounts to take advantage. That ruins it for all legit accounts who didn’t try & time it. S
Also bro, there’s very different spot prices listed, u should post the exact source because people as I can tell u after running metals guessing games, get butt hurt if u don’t site exact source, learn from my experience, if this is weekly thing it will gain attention as the vulture accounts will game all these lacking details. Just don’t wanna see u get dragged by spam accounts and avoid these other issues.
The big one is needing to lock in time in between, otherwise within a month you will have bot accounts coming last 5 seconds just guessing it exactly. Also name source because I’m seeing $86.00 plus as spot close on apmex. Doesn’t effect my winning guess, I’m only trying to avoid u the headaches that will come from others if u don’t be specific. Also don’t comment at close saying you’ll deal with later, and count a guess put in 4 hours after u say it’s closed. Just some advice from someone who ran these for 4 years 👍
