I saw the WSP car fly by earlier and we saw the single car rollover in the center median.

Figured out that I can just put a different color carabiner on to better match the red and blue of the right and left risers.

15 minutes was to leave for Tekoa my helmet mic arrived so I could get it installed. The speakers slid into the ear covers, the mic fit perfect, and the setup works.

OMFG traffic in the city is the worst right now. Finally got south of it and the traffic was nothing.

Hit the gate at 11:15 and soon Levi arrived and we were on the way to the top.

The wind was pumping pretty good but still headed out to launch.

Levi got setup and soon he was off and up in lift.

I finally got myself ready and found a nice lull in the winds where I could get launched.

I futzed around at about launch height for a while then finally hooked the thermal and went up. I managed to let the wing rumble around as I went through the dirty outside of the thermal then got myself in the lift and was able to handle it.

This was my high point and highest I've been yet.

I really wanted to do laps in the thermal and NOT go over the back of the hill like Levi did.

I got a few really nice thermals and then some nice ridge lift but was keeping tabs on my body and how I felt. My legs were getting sore and my knee was not very happy so I decided to head for the lz.

It was rather hard to get down. I almost hooked the thermal over the upper lz but it kicked me out. As I got over the road and lower lz I kept getting bumps of lift and would have to get back in the pod. Finally the wind let me down like an elevator to a smooth touch down.

Isaac showed up just as I was about to leave at 2pm so we talked a bit then he headed up. It was too strong for his liking so he ran retrieve for the three who ended up in Idaho.

Got home, then went to pick @stryeyz up after work, then we managed dinner out on the deck.

I got the trailer hooked up for the grain run I have done this morning already.

My knee strap was stretching out too much and needed washing. Ewww. Good I did wash it.

Shorter soak again thanks to the skin.

Been to town for grain and emptied the trailer already, now we are going to the obstacle race at the high school, then I will have to work on the sled later. Lots to do around the farm still.
