Splinterlands - Unboxing New Cards Purchased By Glint (Part 2)

Hello there!

Recently I have been seeing some of my friends still going strong playing Splinterlands, and I thought maybe I should go explore some of the newer sections in the game site!

After spending 22,500 Glint to redeem 1 Epic card and 5 Rare cards last round in last week's post here, am left with 8,338 Glint. So it's time to get some Common cards!

After last week's "bad luck", let's do 3 cards at one go and see what we get!

Ouch! It's just the first pull and we are getting duplicate draws! No surprises for Common cards - they looked pretty ordinary (or rather, lousy). Let's see what we get in the next set of 3!

Wow much better! Some big cards! All 3 cards have some of the best abilities, Sneak, Flank and Opportunity! Hmm maybe I should try to get more to see if I can push to Level 2?

There seems to be a weird pattern. First draw was low mana cards. Second draw was high mana cards. And now I am getting mid mana cards. How is Cullborn Revenant a Common card? 5 Magic damage with Snipe is quite a strong card, no?

More interesting cards such as the Palimpsest Prophet (what a name!).

Ok, we are starting to get duplicate cards. While we didn't manage to get enough duplicates to get any card to Level 2, I think that's okay. That's a lot of new cards to experiment already. Also realised I didn't get any Gold Foil despite using so many potions. Oh well. Perhaps not my day. So 4,500 Glint used up today, and we leave 3,838 Glint next time!
