Slow Down Fiends with Kansas Twist
As I entered the second level of Soulkeep, I felt the challenge was getting more serious with the waves of Fiends, which were good than the ones I faced in the first level. So I decided I will not just depend on towers for defending the gate and I should also try with spells and see how they would help me in the battle.
I decided to try a new spell called Kansas Twist. As soon as I saw its description, I really liked it because it creates a sort of storm in the middle of the game, slowing down the Fiends' movements and causing them to get a little confused. Indeed, when I used it, I felt a huge difference. The storm made enemies move very slowly, which allowed the towers to take their time attacking and eliminate them before they even got close.
At the same time, I kept switching and trying out a few different towers to see which would be best for facing the incoming waves. I tried out fast-hitting towers and also towers that hit over a wide area. But when I used the Kansas Twist, I noticed that even the regular towers I thought were weak began to show their strength because they had more time to engage the enemy.
The game really opens up a lot of options for you, and each choice can turn the outcome upside down. What made me happy in this level was that I began to understand more about combining different abilities and building a plan that suits each wave. Not only that, but I also began to enjoy the fact that each attempt taught me something new.
Now that I'm approaching the second level, I feel more confident and eagerly await what I'll face in the third level. But of course, the Kansas Twist will remain one of my essential tools, because it really made a difference.
