What to do in Ancestor Trail Soulkeep Map?

In Soulkeep, when I first entered the first level on the Ancestor Trail map, I expected to struggle a bit, but I was surprised to find it relatively simple. What distinguished this level was that the Fiends only came from one route, making it much easier than the next. Instead of looking around and spreading your defenses , here your entire focus was focused on a single way .

What was strange, though, was that I didn't follow the steps suggested by the tutorial. Instead, I decided to try my own approach, and that made the experience different and more enjoyable. I didn't change the towers themselves and I used the same two that the game initially recommended: Gloom Owl and Tarantula Loom, but their locations were different.

Instead of placing them in the positions suggested by tutorial, I decided to distribute them based on my sense of positions of fiends attack and angles. I placed the Gloom Owl near the beginning of the path to eliminate the Fiends early on, giving me enough time to engage them. As for the Tarantula Loom, I placed it at the beginning of the path to deal damage when they're at their weakest, after they've slowed down.

The result? It was excellent. The turrets worked efficiently, and I was able to block attacks easily and without significant losses. I felt that playing freely and experimenting with new ideas was a completely different experience, even if the map was easy.

What I really liked was that Soulkeep gave me room to think and be creative. You don't have to follow the script, and each player can develop their own style in their own way.

I'm looking forward to seeing the next challenges, but the start was very successful, and I'm ready to apply the same approach to more difficult levels.
