After announcing and bringing us the Escalation mini-set and its presale before the Packs can be opened on February 15, 2026, one of the newest and most hardcore modes of Splinterlands will return: Survival Mode. It had been disabled since September 9, 2025, for more than 5 months or almost 23 weeks. However, this return comes with some changes, taking into account player feedback and the team's perspectives to create a more sustainable and attractive mode for players.

One of the main points is that a change implemented on August 5, 2025 will be maintained: the elimination of cards does not affect other modes, so they can be used without problems. Esto permite que los jugadores decidan si quieren enfrentar a otros para medirse o explotar el error humano, o contra Bots para enfrentar la rigidez y meticulosidad de las máquinas al buscar los equipos más eficientes. There will also be a change in the cooldown time required for cards to be used again after being eliminated. This will be based on the tier groups chosen, plus their rarity, level, and foil.
