Looking Back On My Frontier Mode
Greeting Splinterlands Summoners
It's been weeks since the last time I played Frontier mode. I could say many things about it, from limited playing time, not enough line up, too lazy fto buy some cards, and many more. TL;DR I got bored with the limited line up and I realized very well that this mode was designed for beginners and entry level players. So I stopped playing it due to time and priority, until today...

I have played a few games today, well I have that 5 winning streaks just to get the token for raffle. Overall my win rate has improved a lot, I know it is bad for being 47.57% but it was a lot worse in the past. Maybe losing a lot in the past might killed my mood for this mode too, but I have bought some cards and now I could retaliate against stronger opponents... or maybe because they are bots and I get used to against them lol.
I thought today would just be a quick replay for some nostalgic feeling, but I saw something else here. I have some Foundation packs, I haven't realized that I have accumulated more than 10 of them.

In the past I usually opened up foundations packs once a month, but since I have stopped playing it, I really forget about them. If I keep playing this mode everyday, I should have around 100 foundation packs, but it won't worth for the time I have to spend playing it. I think today I should open them up, they would not be helpful for my rank battles, but I might need some of them in my Survival mode.

hahahaha, I remember that opening scene although it's been ages...

Overall, this turns out to be a bad packs opening. I have opened 13 packs and it means I would get 65 cards. I have 0 Legendary cards in this 65 cards and another 0 for epic cards. So I only have commons and rares here.

The good part, or the consolation part is that I receive 3 Gold foil cards. In the past I was aiming them because I thought I could play them in brawl, which was not like that. I was fool enough not reading the specs and I paid the price.
I like gold foil but it's a bit useless if I could not bring them to brawls. Well what can I say anyway, at least I have three more gold foil cards here.
GOLD FOIL LINE UP
Let me show you guys what my line up in Gold Foil looks like...

These are my Gold Foil cards for summoners and units type. Since I knew I could not bring them into Brawl, I lost big chunk of motivation to play frontier mode. I lost my will to collect more, it's like pokemon trainers that gets too lazy to buy his balls lol.

Oh look, my Kanaaq Miner could be leveled up here. I have two copies of him. This level up doesn't make a big different, but at least something I could do for this moment.
So what do you think guys, should I get back to this frontier mode? I have no motivation at the moment, because all my resource are allocated to shape up my line up to be competitive enough in Modern Gold League, there are plenty of cards I have to get... and not only about buying cards, but I have to spend more time there.
Let me know your opinion, and thank you for visiting my Splinterlands post here.

Good to really just max out the key cards bro.

I would suggest you max your foundation cards and get done with that frontier ranked.I so much enjoyed this season at modern ranked because saltwater mage and Mystic Scaleweaver which are foundation cards were very handy in some of my modern ranked battles. All the same wish you more success.
