In this week's edition of my Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Welcome to the Frontier, I will do something drastically different from my usual battle showcases. Instead of war, I will become a peaceful teacher showing all new players how to most effectively navigate the topic of "Welcome to the Frontier".

Frontier comes stocked with it's own energy bar, completely decoupled from Modern and Wild, plus three daily quests that you complete simply by winning five Frontier matches each — no extra charges or cross-format competition. I’ve found myself hoarding energy for weekend grind sprints, then burning through matches in marathon sessions that yield more cards and packs than I ever dreamt possible. This design keeps Frontier focused and fun without trampling on your main play plan, letting you toggle between formats without fear of running dry.

Perhaps the sweetest twist: every Foundation card you snag in Frontier is fully transferable, sellable, and even upgradable, so your hard won collection holds real value on the open market. I turned extra Foundation cards into starter DEC, which funded my first actual pack purchase. It turns out, Frontier winnings can jump start your entire Splinterlands career!
