The resting Place of Slava Raškaj, one of the greatest Croatian Painters

Good evening dear Friends in the Visual Shots Community! 👋📸

Near the Old Town of Ozalj, there is a church in the courtyard of which is the grave of one of the greatest female painters of Croatian history. During my visit to Ozalj, I heard about it, I had not known it before, and I decided to climb up to the church and the grave of this painter of ours. She now rests peacefully in Ozalj, next to the church, not far from the place where her life and artistic story began. Her watercolors are full of light, nature and gentle silence — just like the place where her grave is today.

So, let's go see together!

Although she lived a short and quiet life, Slava left an indelible mark on Croatian art.
Her grave is not only a place of remembrance, but also a reminder of how fragile and yet powerful true art and the human soul are.

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop - Camera Raw Filter

And, this is all for Today, see you Tomorrow!
