Fan art inspired by the Forest Healer [Eng/Esp].

Hello all my dear friends, how are you today. This time I bring you a fan art inspired by the forest healer and a very special person for me, my little cousin Alex, who has a birthday today. I've been saving this drawing for him for a while, because here I reflect a mixture of the holozing character and him, as he is a very fearless, mischievous and daring little boy who is always playing with his swords to be a brand new prince. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it. I'll show you how I made it.

Hola a todos mis queridos amigos, que tal se encuentran en el día de hoy. En esta ocasión les traigo un fan art inspirado en el sanador del bosque y en una persona muy especial para mí que es mi pequeño primito Alex y está de cumpleaños hoy. Llevo rato reservando este dibujo para él, pues aquí reflejo una mezcla del personaje de holozing y él, ya que es un pequeño muy intrépido, travieso y atrevido que siempre está jugando con sus espadas a ser un flamante príncipe. Espero que les guste tanto como yo lo disfruté creándolo. Enseguida les muestro como lo realicé.

I started this design with a pencil sketch, using different brushes for the strokes of the lines, drawing first a cruder sketch of the character on a dark background, to which I added details until I reached the final line where I added some clover leaves in the background. For its realisation I took some fundamental features of the character like his healing tunic and the accessories like the clover that represents him as well as small features that characterise my Ale like the expression on his face and that cardboard crown that he always wears in his games and exploits.

Comencé este diseño con el boceto a lápiz, utilizando diferentes pinceles para los trazos de las líneas, dibujando primeramente un bosquejo más crudo del personaje sobre un fondo oscuro, al cual fui añadiendo detalles hasta llegar a la línea final donde añadí unas hojas de trébol en el fondo. Para su realización tomé algunos rasgos fundamentales del personaje como su túnica de sanación y los accesorios como el trébol que lo representa así como pequeños rasgos que caracterizan a mi Ale como es la expresión en su rostro y esa corona de cartón que siempre lleva puesta en sus juegos y hazañas.

The next step is to add colour starting with the skin colour of her head, her eyes and hair, to continue with her clothes and accessories and finally the clover leaves in the background, using different shades of beige, green, black and yellow.

Lo siguiente será dar color comenzando por el color piel de su cabeza, sus ojos y el cabello, para continuar con su ropa y accesorios y por último las hojas de trebol del fondo, utilizando diferentes tonalidades de beis, verde, negro y amarillo.

One of the most important steps is to add shadows and details to the drawing to give more depth and realism, where some parts are darkened and lightened. Starting with his hair and face and continuing with the rest of his body, clothes and accessories.

Uno de los pasos más importantes es agregar sombras y detalles al dibujo para dar mayor profundidad y realismo, donde se oscurecen y aclaran algunas partes. Comenzando por su cabello y su rostro para continuar con el resto de su cuerpo, ropa y accesorios.

Finally I used the soft airbrush for the outline of the leaves and the parts where the light hits the character to give a glow effect, the fog brush to give a beautiful, magical effect and highlight the healer within the scene, plus a varied set of tools such as the G pen and the soft outline pen giving it a touch of realism and beauty.

Por último utilicé el pincel aerógrafo suave para el contorno de las hojas y las partes donde la luz incide en el personaje para dar un efecto de resplandor, el pincel niebla para dar un efecto hermoso, mágico y resaltar el sanador dentro de la escena, además de un set de herramientas variado como la pluma G y la de contorno suave dándole un toque de realismo y belleza.
