Welcome to my creative space where I will be showing you a beautiful idea using pipe cleaners, this time to give as a gift on Valentine's Day, although you could also make it any day of the year; there is always a good time to make something nice that represents love.

Sin duda el día del amor y la amistad es significativo para muchos, aunque si bien es cierto para dar un obsequio no se requiere de fecha especial y puede ser cualquier día del año, pero en esta oportunidad quise realizar este bello llavero de corazón con alas utilizando limpiapipas, agregué el detalle de alas porque me pareció tierno.

Undoubtedly, Valentine's Day is significant for many, although it's true that you don't need a special date to give a gift and it can be any day of the year. But on this occasion, I wanted to make this beautiful heart keychain with wings using pipe cleaners. I added the wing detail because I thought it was cute.

Espero les pueda servir de ayuda, lo bueno es que no necesitas una gran cantidad de limpiapipas, este detalle lo puedes acompañar con un algún dulce, foto, o lo que se te ocurra para esa personita especial, a continuación los materiales y el paso a paso.

Paso a paso / Step by step

El primer paso que voy a realizar será dibujar un corazón de cartón del tamaño de tu preferencia, luego de esto cortamos y voy a comenzar a rellenar con algodón.

Elegí el algodón porque es suave y nuestra figura quedaría bien acolchada, luego cubrimos con adhesivo blanco y de ser necesario colocamos otra capa de algodón ya que debe quedar con grosor.

The first step I'm going to take is to draw a cardboard heart in the size you prefer. After that, we'll cut it out, and I'll start filling it with cotton.

I chose cotton because it's soft, and our heart will be nice and padded. Then we'll cover it with white glue, and if necessary, add another layer of cotton to make sure it's thick enough.

Ahora voy a enrollar los limpiapipas de color rojo en el palillo, utilicé en total 11 limpiapipas, con silicón en barra voy a pegar desde el borde del centro y allí vamos cubriendo el corazón, una capa tras capa, que nos quede bien pegado y sin dejar tantos restos de silicón.

Now I'm going to wrap the red pipe cleaners around the stick. I used a total of 11 pipe cleaners. With silicone sticks, I'm going to glue them from the center edge, covering the heart layer by layer, making sure it's well glued and without leaving too much silicone residue.

Con esta técnica este corazón se verá peludito, para la parte trasera voy a cubrir también pero será mucho más fácil ya que esta parte es totalmente plana. Luego de retirar el exceso de pelusa con adhesivo transparente voy a proceder a realizar las alas.

With this technique, this heart will look fuzzy. I'll cover the back as well, but it will be much easier since that part is completely flat. After removing the excess fuzz with clear adhesive, I'll proceed to make the wings.

Para las alas primero voy a dibujar la figura en una hoja blanca, luego voy a tomar el limpiapipas blanco y realicé la forma pero recta, y luego con otro limpiapipas cubrimos y el borde será con la silueta del ala.

For the wings, I'm first going to draw the shape on a white sheet of paper, then I'm going to take the white pipe cleaner and make the shape straight, and then with another pipe cleaner we cover it and the edge will be with the silhouette of the wing.

Después voy a pegar junto al corazón en cada lado, si no quieres que se vea las puntas detrás del corazón puedes cortar un poco y pegar y quedara mucho mejor.

Next, I'm going to glue it next to the heart on each side. If you don't want the points to show behind the heart, you can cut them a little and glue them on, and it will look much better.
