Hive Savings Goal Status Update March 2026 - Celebrations Over, Time To Get Back On Track

Good day everyone, hope all of you are doing fine. One month had passed us by and we are now into the third month of 2026. The situation out there is getting really unstable with the wars that are breaking out in multiple front especially in Middle East. And I did had a crazily busy month of February due to Chinese New Year where I was covering loads of celebration events and dinners which took out quite a bit of my time and was a little less active on hive.

Delta to goal is current at 8873 HP.

The reduced activity in February resulted in a significant drop in the HP accumulated in the month and I will to ensure I am back in focus so that I will not derail too much from my goal and require a big catch up later in the months ahead.

Enablers for Goal

The enablers for the goal will not really change. And will be discussed item by item.

Blogging on Hive Blockchain
The bulk of the HP growth came from this particular and it will continue to be the main driving force towards hitting the goal. Unfortunately, I did not have a lot of time in the last month which resulted in significantly lower HP gained. Will need to refocus this month and ensure things go back on track.

Curation
Similarly, the lack of time resulted in the lacking of curation which also caused lower HP from this particular wing. Rest assured with the celebrations ending, I will be doing more curation to get good intake for this aspect as well.

Layer 2 Token Management
There are many layer 2 tokens on Hive that provide some form of passive income. And there are also that have been accumulated while blogging and curating. Actively managing these tokens are important for growth, so here are some of the layer 2 tokens that actually generate liquid hive or swap.hive for me and boost my HP growth.

Liquid Hive Sources:

Holding EDSI tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.088 HIVE per week. (No change)
Holding ALIVE tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.010 HIVE per day. (No change)
Holding DAB tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.005 HIVE per day. (Drop by 0.001)

And with this it gives me a grand total of 0.193 HP per week. A slight drop due to the reduce income from DAB.

SWAP.HIVE Sources:
Holding BBH tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.0150 SWAP.HIVE per week.

Not too bad, the BBH gathering of swap.hive increases which is a good thing and give me encouragement to work harder on this aspect.

HP Delegation:

To ensure I have enough liquid hive for each hive power up day, I delegated HP to @ecency. This has been really good as I will have my emergency liquid hive in case I am too tired to write a post and using it to power up to ensure I am on track for each hive power up month.

The delegation currently yields me liquid hive of 0.04 to 0.05 daily.

External Faucets
I am still doing my time to time external faucet making use of small pockets of free time to clock up more crypto. Just little bit here and there to get some liquids accumulated but not devoted and grinding it out on a daily basis.

Rollercoin
I am still playing Rollercoin up till now and gaining much traction in terms of getting more miners for my mining room. Slowly but surely, I will be able to mine more crypto from there on a weekly to monthly basis. The ability to refresh missions really helped alot and I am starting to get back on track in my clearing of daily missions. This allows me to bring down cost of buying the season pass using in game currency to further boost up my mining power.

Closing
The event coverage and photobooth that I am out working on had taken a toll on the time I had here on hive, resulting in slower growth in the previous month. With celebrations coming to an end for Chinese New Year, I guess no reason for me to work on Hive to grow my assets here.
