Obstacles on the Road .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 262
Obstacles are all around us... In crypto, on HIVE, in our workplaces, in our lives, everywhere... There are different ways in which people react when they find themselves, and that's probably the biggest difference between rich and poor, optimists and pessimists, good and bad, etc. Maybe just the bear market talks out of me, but I have reflected on this topic today... How do I react when I encounter the obstacle...

Created on Canva.com, using my photo as a background
I took this photo today, on my morning walk, on a path where I had never before... It goes through the dry river bed of the Vinalopo, which had probably better days in the past, when it had water... Anyways, today I was "walking on the water", and as we had those already mentioned strong winds, there was this big fallen tree in the middle of the path... From a distance, it looked like an obstacle that was impossible to pass, but when I got closer, I found a "passage" between branches... and I did pass!
That made me think of my similar life (and business) adventures... How did I react when I encounter and obstacle? Well, it depends on the occasion, but I had different reactions...
1. "Remove" the obstacle!
There were many obstacles, especially when I began my first entrepreneurial adventure... I had no idea about the problems and obstacles that come when you launch the company... Dozens of different taxes, jealousy of competition owners, people who undermine you on the road, etc. One of the big ones was the case when I had an IRS (it's called differently in my country, but for the sake of understanding, I will use this term) on my back... I didn't do anything wrong, but some "bad client" sent an anonymous call, and they had to react... On my bad luck, the guy from the IRS was one of those who like to "show their authority" and WANT to fine you! He spent over a week in my company, trying to find some dirty laundry (which didn't exist)... Or maybe he was waiting to be bribed, I'm not sure... But that time, I stood until the last moment, slowly removing the obstacle...

2. Move on...
This is an interesting "solution" for an obstacle... I would say that in that analogy with a fallen tree, that was "moving on"... I didn't try to remove the tree from the path, as it was impossible to do, but rather strategically, move under it, and continue my walk... The same happened recently with my hosting business, which I was describing in some of my previous posts... My server was hacked over and over again, and instead of fighting against it for who knows how long, I just moved on... It was time to do so, and I did... and to be honest, that was the best decision I made in 2025 (and maybe last decade)... I moved my main focus to more important things and changed my priorities...
3. Quit!
Well, quitting is also one of the valid solutions too... Sometimes it is better to quit early than to drag the issue for a long time... Not all things depend only on us, and we can't control everything... Instead of pulling the obstacle with us, it's better to leave it, take a few steps back, and find a different path... It's like hitting the wall with a small hammer... You can do it millions of times, but it will not fall...
Of course, I did quit on some things... and it was hurtful... I remember the 2008 crisis, and the time a few months BEFORE it happened... My business partners and I decided to expand our business to an additional 2 cities at the same time... We took loans, made business arrangements, resolved logistic issues, and made a step... It was all great for the first 2-3 months, and the big world crisis came! Our sales literally went to ZERO for almost a whole month! After struggling for 6-7 months, we had to quit... It wasn't sustainable, we had bills to pay, loans to return...
I had many more examples, but I would like to hear how you react when you encounter an obstacle. Do you always react in the same way, or do you act differently, depending on the occasion? I would like to hear your experiences...

Let's see the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week...
This week, we have mined 107 BEE tokens in total, 1 token more than the week before!
This week, we lost 1 and got 1 new delegator! Welcome to the pool, @mightyrocklee! Also, we got new additional delegations from old members, too! Thanks for your continuous support, guys and girls! I really appreciate it!
This pool doesn't charge fees, and you can earn up to 20% more by delegating to it!

What about the bonus tokens?
Last week I was distributing LEN tokens, this time it's the turn for the CTPSB tokens! That is another token from the @liotes ecosystem, which was acquired on our journey... It has a sound tokenomics, based on HivePower, so the token value goes up indexed in HIVE... Ideal for a passive income for people who believe in HIVE! NFA!
There will be distributed 2.9 CTPSB tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!

2.9 CTPSB tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 12.724%, and when we added the bonus, it went up to 15.278%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens when creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...
Do you want to sponsor the PH-Pool with your tokens, receive a short SPONSORED segment in this post, and raise awareness about your front-end or dApp? Please let me know in the comment section, or contact me through Discord or Twitter, and we will find the best solution for both parties...

If you want to join the WorkerBee PH-Pool, the only thing that you have to do is to STAKE tokens to YOUR account and DELEGATE your staked WORKERBEE tokens to THIS account (@ph1102)! Every week, you will get your portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!
.:. DO NOT STAKE TOKENS TO MY ACCOUNT!!! Just DELEGATE! .:.

All payments will be made after publishing this post...
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section!

Thanks for your support! 💪
I like the comparison of the fallen tree, sometimes it is more about figuring out how to get around it instead of trying to clear what's blocking our path.
I saw the opportunity and grabbed it! 😀 The fallen tree was a topic spark for today...
Thanks for the CTPSB tokens ;-)
You are welcome! I suppose you have enough of them... 😃
Thanks for your curation, @ewkaw! Appreciate it! 🙏
I think the initial reaction is always to quit, take the easy route and move on. But there are certain cases and with further inspection, I realize that the obstacle is solvable and then figure out ways to solve it. For me, what's hard to figure out right at the onset of an obstacle is to persevere or pivot, the faster that decision is made and correctly, the simpler my life will get
Oh, you are right on that! I had been delaying my hosting pivot for so long, and I wasted some opportunities because of it.
It's like being sick... As soon as you confront yourself with it and know exactly what it is, it is better! You don't waste time on the wrong therapy!
Hit, dodge, escape.
It only depends on how the brain assesses the situation and how much risk I am in. As an impulsive (and emotional) being for sudden situations, I usually hit back the hardest, with a punch. I avoid when I realize that entering the situation would screw me up, and when my brain judges that I'm a complete failure if I continue to stay in that situation (which takes the most time), I run away 😄
I don't know why, but that reminded me of playing Diablo with my friends... hahahaha... I was always playing with an Archer (or magician)... Would keep the distance, hit from there, while my friend would hit from the close... and when he would die, I would run away as fast as I can... hahahahaha 😂

STOPTy for the CTPSB!
You are welcome! Thanks for being part of the pool! 🍻
Thanks for the news and tokens 👍😎
You are welcome! 🍻
That analogy of the fallen tree is perfect. From far away, problems always look like a solid wall, but there’s almost always a gap between the branches if you’re willing to get close enough to look.
Exactly! I always say to people to ZOOM OUT when you are trying to get the big picture, especially in hard times, like now in crypto...
But, on the other side, it's important to ZOOM IN, and take a closer look at things and problems... It's easier to find a solution when we know the problem in detail...
I never react impulsively to obstacles. I try to understand the situation before reacting. I look at why the obstacle exists and what I can do about it. I believe we shouldn't react the same way to every obstacle. To use a wall as an analogy: if there is a wall in front of me, I first look for a door. If there is no door, I try to find a spot where I can make a window.
That's a very good approach... I have to admit that I snap most of the time... My first reaction is anger, frustration... and usually I need time to get in the state you explained... to calm down, and look for the door or crack in the wall... I have to work on myself...
I think it depends on the situation. For minor things, I just move on. For more serious things, it depends on what I end up thinking is worth the effort.
Thanks for running the pool and for the BEE/CTPSB tokens.
It's good to examine the issue and make priorities... Good approach from your side!
Quit or remove the obstacles are definitely the way I go usually too
You can also crush the obstacles if you are powerful enough 🤣
Hehehe... According to you, I could "crush" that tree like this...
😂
I was more thinking on a tank 😂
I haven't left intentionally. But my account has been hacked and my liquid tokens transferred out. With other tokens on unstaked and undelegated. I'm trying to investigate this and see if there is anything I can do to reverse it. But it looks like I've lost a lot to an account @der.prophet
If anyone knows how I might try to get my tokens back, I appreciate any help you can give.
Oh, shit... That sucks big time!
Unfortunately, as I know, returning tokens isn't possible on any blockchain, including HIVE... But, the most important part is not to lose even more...
Did you change your keys? If not, you should do it ASAP!
Yes, I changed my keys so hopefully I won't lose any more. Looks like it was limited to some unstaked level 2 Hive Tokens. So I lost SURGE, BBH, CTPSB, and CCC to the tune of around 500 HIVE.
Fortunately, I managed to stop the LENM unstake. But I will have to wait for the WORKERBEE delegation to run its 7 days before I can redelegate.
It's all part of the learning curve. 😊 Hopefully I've replaced enough BBH to try...
!BBH

If you notice something weird, you can react fast...
Btw, do you know how you got hacked? I mean, just to be aware not to do the same thing again...
Thanks for the link.
Now I have to hang my head in shame as I admit to being fooled by a Thread that promised a reward at https://ecency.com/hive-167922/@leothreads/leothread-2026-02-14-22-14#@hive.airdrop/re-leothreads-leothread-2026-02-14-22-14-20260215t041936797z
It contains a link to a page that asked for a Hivesigner login. But of course, it was spoofed and I fell for it. I absolutely know in hindsight that I should be more careful. So I see it as a relatively small price to pay for a very important lesson.
Don't be too hard on yourself... It happens... Lesson learned...
One thing I have learnt over time is to stay calm and take a deep breath, and never make decisions on impulse or when I am not able to think properly e.g. when I am panicking. Because such decisions are often bad and not thought through properly.
Thanks for the update and tokens!
I know all the theory that you explained... But, I do have a problem implementing it in practice... 😂 I mean, in the end I do calm myself down and deal with it, but the "stage" (freaking out 😃) before can last shorter or longer... 🤣
Yeah it's easier said than done! Hehe!
I certainly not always behave the same way when I encounter obstacles. But I always find solutions to overcome the obstacle, which could include quitting. Quitting isn't bad, it is part of life. We can not and perhaps even shall not do something for the rest of our earthly lives. I remember quiting renewable textile business. Well, it wasn't a business yet, more like a few small projects. A quit because I expected more from my partners, more passion, more time and bandwidth, and at the same time I couldn't see handling such business myself. Though I did like what we tried to achieve, in the end, I am more a technology guy than a textile, clothing guy. In other cases I overcame obstacles, the symbolic crawling underneath the tree, or jumping over it, or sometimes even finding ways to remove it. Whatever I did, one thing I go with, all the time: I dont feel bad about what happened, I accept what has happened. I hope I can learn from the past, but that isn't a must. But a must is, never to stay int he past and feel sorry for what has happened. Live in the now, with a somewhat near future forward looking view and enjoy life as much as we can.
Wow! I have felt very similar when I was running my first company, with 1 business partner! I was expecting more, which wasn't the main reason for breaking the partnership, as I could live with that... But the problem was that my business partner "felt" the pressure on his skin, which he couldn't bear... So, in a nutshell, he quit... 😃 But, I do accept my fault... As I was pushing way too hard, with a tempo that he couldn't follow, and which I couldn't follow either for a longer time...
Anyways, sometimes I'm too hard on myself... Like in that example... It wasn't ONLY my fault, but when you "break" a couple of partnerships in a row, you start to doubt... 😂
Thanks for this awesome comment, as it made me self-reflect!
Amen! 🥂
Hello pH!!! Finally I'm thinking to try workerbee token as last time i was thinking to buy and delegate bee token but that's another thing I've had confusion 🙂 I'll buy workerbee Tonight or tomorrow
!PIZZA
Don't take any action before you know what you are doing... :)
You don't delegate BEE tokens! You delegate WORKERBEE tokens... and then, every week, you get a portion of mined BEE tokens, which you can sell, exchange, or do whatever you want...
BUY, STAKE (to YOURSELF!), and DELEGATE Workerbee tokens... That's the order of doing it...
No BEE tokens involved! 😀
If you have any questions, please ask... and don't rush things... ;)
Should i delegate workerbee token to your account
If you wish, you can... Thank you! 😃
Just follow the steps
Ok thank you 😊
