The Story Behind The Name ✨

It's been quite a while since I wrote a challenge post. Recently I tend to write on whatever I feel or whatever inspires me. It's kind of great to have something like a direction to flow the writing to and I came across this challenge by @thekittygirl due to a curious dive into @bemier's post.

A name online for some is a very serious endeavor. This is what your account and life would be known as, as such it's the first way someone would determine your character...

VERY BIG DEAL

Still, I have come across a few interesting and or still names in my time online, especially here on hive.

So let's start first by nominating my 5 folks. I'll choose those whose names are quite amusing to me: @omokhafue, @tengolotodo, @teknon @ahmadmanga, @oluchi31.

I do hope they write on it, I'm curious to see how their names came about.
So I think I'll answer the questions as they come....

How and Why Seki1?

To answer this one, I'd have to answer question 2. My original name is Emmanuel Oghogho (Joy) Obaseki. The (Joy) is the meaning of "Oghogho" so I interchange em sometimes.
In secondary schools, most teachers address students with their last names, and mine was quite a popular one. From there a few friends of mine coined the nickname Seki and it has been stuck with me ever since.
Funnily I hated and still do dislike the lad who formed the name, yet it's on almost all my socials and literally what I'm known as in my social circles😂

Anything other than Seki?

There was a time I was thinking of changing my name from Emmanuel to Estephan, call it a double personna cause some people already know me as Estephan.
In the same breath, the sister of a friend of mine tried pronouncing Estephan and came up with "Stephnofa". Till now that's what she says and it's so cute that I used it as my X name😂✨

Those are all the names of the writer called Seki. The reason why it's seki1 on hive is simply because "Seki" was taken already 😂😂

Seems the account is inactive now even😂
