The Kind Of Travelling I prefer: Travelling With My Family #238

Happy Tuesday to everyone here in the # Ladies Of Hive family.

This week's contest topic is very interesting because it is something people do often. And I don't know how some people see traveling; to me, it's always a time filled with love and new experiences.

I'm asked to write about the type of travel I would prefer. Well, honestly speaking, I like traveling with my family because they're all I have.

I don't have any other family aside from them. So I always prefer to travel with them. It always makes me feel among, and I'm always grateful to God for that.

Each time I travel with my family, my father and mother would buy so many things for me to eat and also drink.

When I decided to ask them why they always buy so many snacks for me while traveling, they told me they didn't want to see me stretching my eyes to see what other people were eating.

They told me it was their responsibility to take proper care of me as their second daughter because they feel all female children need special attention from their parents, likewise the males.

Anytime I travel with them, once we reach our destination, they will ask me to shower and then get ready for an outing.

Outing is something I like so much because each time I go for an outing, I learn a lot, and I enjoy it a lot.
So I did as they asked me to do.

Then immediately after that, we stepped out for the outing. I, my mom, and my dad. We went to a place called Le Maridian here in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

It's a nice place to go for an outing. I watched how they play golf, and one of my relatives works there as a staff.

He brags a lot about the place, so I thought as much about going there immediately after we landed. Surprisingly, it looks more magnificent than what I've been hearing.

Traveling, as they say, is part of Education; of course, it is. Had it been I've not tasted a little of it, I wouldn't have known how true that saying was.

But now that I've known, I can boldly say that that saying was correct.

I want to conclude my write-up by relating my childhood experiences of traveling. When I was much younger, I was fond of traveling to my grandma's village to visit her, alongside my parents.

One of the things I could remember I did a lot was that the night to the day
I would be traveling, I will take my bath, and then, I will put on the new shoes they bought for me.

I couldn't sleep; I still recall waking up and checking the time. Indeed, traveling with my family is the best thing I love doing, and I will continue to do it as long as there's life.
