BIRDAYS ARE BEAUTIFUL TO CELEBRATE; LOH #293.

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog. I appreciate our two topics this week, I also appreciate our judge for this week.

Question 2,
Do you like celebrating your own birthday or are you more of a clebrator of other people's birthdays?
What would you like to do for your next birthday?

Honestly, celebration of one's birthday is a beautiful thing. Impacting joy, appreciation, gratitude to God. Celebration of one's birthday gives full hope for life, the joyfulness for receiving another 365 days. It gives me a sense of belonging that I'm among those God loves and has counted out to continue living in the land of the living. Though I also celebrate others.

We all know that the power to be alive and die are all in the hands of God alone, he makes this singular decisions without anyone deciding for him at all.

For me, whenever my birthday comes up which is always at the festive time... precisely, the frst day of every January each year,

** I'm already in a celebration mood for seeing this day, a day to welcome new day and another year of life into existence. Rice is already cooking on fire, live chicken is standing by to be slaughtered, can't you see that the atmosphere is already saturated with joy, rejoicing and a great thanksgiving to God for keeping everyone alive to come into a brand new day, a brand new month and a completely brand new year.

According to my mother, immediately it was 12 am that day, and year, she was delivered of a beautiful, healthy, peaceful and plumpy baby girl....and that was me😂.

Over the years, she had always prayed for me, specially and specifically asking God Almighty to bless me with both every spiritual growth for balancing and everything beautiful, life can offer.
God has been honouring her words and her prayers on me. When I look back in retrospect, pondering about life and all it's branches, I have seen those her prayers and spoken heart desires come to be with me.

ON MY OWN, I'M NOT A PARTY PERSON LIKE THAT
In the very early stage of my marriage, I can vividly remember now one time I alone traveled home for Christmas celebration from Lagos State, then we were still living in Lagos State.

Staying few days at the village my husband called me and insisted that I should return back to Lagos State on the thirty first day of December, I replied him that it was too early and urgent to return on that day, but he insisted.

You know, those were still the joyful days of celebrations and good moments with families and friends in the village, some weddings and other occasions are still happening. Then, I haven't became a mum. So I was still enjoying life with families and friends like a single girl. But he kept calling and reminding me never to fail coming back to Lagos on the thirty first day of December. I wasn't happy.

I reluctantly agreed to come back, every where was normal, I was really not completely happy coming back before my expected day. The next day being my birthday, he decided we were going out together to somewhere. We got there, started gisting, relaxing, he was asking about everything that happened in the village, I was talking, but Immediately it 2:pm he said let's go home and that was in a hurry too. I was really concerned this time, asking myself in my heart, what's happening that he's doing things abruptly?, but I could not ask him.

We quickly left, coming back home into our flat then, the flat door was open, I was deeply surprised, immediately I looked in, voices of song rented the air, "Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday To You"

Looking very well, I saw my good friend and her husband, my hubby's friends, our family friends, few relatives were all seated in our big sitting room, on the dinning table was a big cooler of jeloff rice, assorted drinks, bottles of win.

Looking at their faces I saw some smiles, shouts of welcome and happy birthday with joy, some with their wives, some of my friends with their husbands. I and my hubby started laughing deeply, I started shouting, jumping up with deep joy and I was very surprised about all the arrangements behind me. I hugged my husband and started hugging everyone there.

This happened many years ago but it's a life time memory for me. I don't think I can forget it in my entire life because I never dreamed of it, there was no sign of such huge welcome and celebration of my own birthday. It was a lovely day in the corner of my heart ever since..

I have been celebrating my birthdays after that surprisig one from my husband. I do that by showering lovely prayers on myself, my sisters and brothers doesn't forget it every year, they will one by one say something nice and beautiful to me, some close friends too.

My bank will always send me beautiful wishes every year on my birthday. I have also been posting myself on my Facebook account and many of my friends home and abroad had always blessed me thanking God with me for his faithfulness but I didn't do that this year.

On my next birthday I will also wish myself well, pray to God for his continue helps and mercies. I could visit the general hospital, speaking the word of God to them, praying with them and giving few gifts to them. The last time I did such had been very far, I used to go to the....

GETTING THERE, AT THE GATE, THEY'LL WELCOME YOU, YOU TELL THEM WHY YOU ARE THERE,

THE GATEMAN WILL NOW CALL ONE OF THE WOMEN, WHO WILL COME REGISTER YOUR NAME IN THEIR BOOK, COLLECT WHAT YOU CAME WITH AND TAKE YOU INSIDE TO SEE THE ORPHANS OR THE ABANDONED CHILDREN. I HAVE BEEN THERE SEVERALLY.

MOST OF THEM ARE GROWN, THEY EVEN GO TO SCHOOL WITHIN THERE. YOU CAN NOW INTERACT WITH THEM TILL WHEN YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE**

It's very emotional and relieving time for me, I keep being thankful to God that my own parents didn't abandone me, and I didn't abandon or thinking of abandoning my own children. It normally brings out sobber reflections from within me. Some movements we make sometimes are great lessons of life or to life.
