A memorial site for Charlie Kirk near the US embassy in Vienna was vandalized
Eine spontan errichtete Gendenkstelle für den ermordeten konservativen Aktivisten Charlie Kirk wurde in der Nähe der US-Botschaft in Wien vandalisiert.
Ein Posting auf X gibt der Antifa in Wien die Schuld, auf den MSM ist dazu bis jetzt noch nichts zu lesen. Ist im Moment schwer die Meldung zu verifizieren.
Jedenfalls ist es heftig, was gerade in den USA passiert. Die Situation ist nach dem brutalen Schussattentat auf Charlie Kirk bei einer Diskussions-Veranstaltung auf der Universität von Orem in Utah sehr angespannt.
Das Ganze erinnert mich sehr an das missglückte Attentat auf Trump in Butler, nur dass diesmal Kirk nicht so viel Glück hatte.
Kirk war erst 31 Jahre alt und war als konservativer, eloquenter Aktivist und Trump-Unterstützer tätig, reiste von Universität zu Universität, um mit College-Studenten vor Ort zu diskutieren, auch mit politischen Gegnern gab es in der Sache heftige aber total friedliche Diskussionen. Auch Gegner sowohl Republikaner als auch Demokraten kamen zu Wort.
Diese Dikussions-Veranstaltungen wurden ihm jetzt zum Verhängnis.
Erst zwei Tage nach dem Attentat wurde der mutmaßliche Schütze, ein 22-jähriger Mann, festgenommen. Die Ermittlungen laufen noch.
Der Vorfall zeigt wie gespalten die USA sind und dass die Lage immer mehr eskalieren kann. Sehr gefährliche Situation.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Wie hätte man das Attentat verhindern können? Warum nimmt die Gewalt gegen Politiker und Aktivisten immer mehr zu?

A spontaneously erected memorial for murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk was vandalized near the US Embassy in Vienna.
A post on X blames Antifa in Vienna, but there has been no mention of this in the mainstream media so far. It is difficult to verify the report at this time.
In any case, what is happening in the US right now is insane. The situation is very tense after the brutal shooting of Charlie Kirk at a discussion event at the University of Orem in Utah.
The whole story reminds me a lot of the failed assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, except that this time Kirk was not so lucky.
Kirk was only 31 years old and was a conservative, eloquent activist and Trump supporter who traveled from university to university to discuss issues with college students. Even with political opponents, the discussions were heated but completely peaceful. Opponents from both the Republican and Democratic parties were given a chance to speak.
These discussions have now proved fatal for him.
It was not until two days after the assassination that the suspected shooter, a 22-year-old man, was arrested. The investigation is still ongoing.
The incident shows how divided the US is and that the situation could escalate further. In fact, a very dangerous situation.

Was will man von solchen Leuten noch erwarten? Die können doch schon gar nicht mehr klar denken und handeln nur nach Reizreaktionsketten. Diesen Spinnern ist nichts heilig und sie besitzen keinen Anstand. Für viele ist es ein Schock weil sie sich das Ausmaß an Bosheit einfach nicht vorstellen konnten. Jetzt zeigt es sich ungeschönt und tanzt nackt auf dem Tisch, für alle sichtbar.

Da fällt es mir super schwer zu urteilen. Das Attentat ist natürlich zu verurteilen und die Spaltung der Gesellschaft ist echt ein großes Problem der heutigen Zeit. Trotzdem halte ich es für fragwürdig Kirk nur als "Aktivisten" zu bezeichnen, aber da darf sich jeder seine eigene Meinung bilden.
Bitte glaube nicht, wass in den ÖRR über ihn verbreitet wird, er hat z.B. NICHT die Steinigung von Homosexuellen gefordert, wie ihm Manche das vorwerfen. All die Zitate sind frei erfunden.

Weil den Linken zunehmend die Felle davon schwimmen und ihre Propaganda und ihre Aufstachelungen gegen die politischen Gegner immer schlimmer werden. Es ist, und das hat schon im 1. Wahlkampf gegen Trump begonnen, eine regelrechte Radikalisierung stattgefunden, siehe dieser Zusammenschnitt:

Und es nicht symmetrisch, es werden hauptsächlich Konservative angegriffen, auch in D. (Abfackelungen von AfD-Autos, Plünderungen von AfD-Ständen, Störung von Vorträgen, etc.), von Angriffen auf SPD oder Grüne hört man kaum. Warum wohl? Weil die Linken keine echten Argumente haben, sondern nur Haß.

I think Kirk was a strange person. Nevertheless, such an assassination is not justified. That's why I'm glad to live in Europe. The mere fact that there are more guns "living" in the US than people is disturbing.
Rest in Peace Charlie, a man that has earned my respect and deepest admiration. I believe that he understood the character and nature of Leftist irrationality such that he knew that it was a matter of time before someone will attempt to kill him out of pure irrational malice. That's some kind of courage.
My heart mourns for Kirk. He doesn't deserve this.

My local community of Red Deer, Alberta just held their Vigil this evening.
We will see what's left of that Canadian spirit in the coming days, hopefully no one would do this to any memorial.
I think that is is horrible to see that. I don't exactly agree with everything he said, but he didn't deserve to get murdered, and I also don't think the memorial deserves to be vandalized either. I just think that politics has been way too polarized, and I am not surprised that violence is on the rise.
I'm still shocked over the killing of Charlie Kirk. I've searched all over the place I could, to know why such a vibrant young man should be killed, I couldn't get an iota of a reasonable reason. How could a normal human being degenerate to such a beastly level as to kill somebody without a justified reason.
This type of violence is a sad commentary on the human race as a whole, and it's imperative that parents should, as much as possible begin to instill discipline in their children early in life. Children should be told that our minds should work like that of human beings, not that of beasts. And the society at large (every institution) should continue from where the parents stopped.
