These are delicious biscuits in syrup with cinnamon, I learned this recipe this weekend, because my sister taught it to me and I wanted to replicate it. I'll show you how to make them.
Hola mis queridos amigos amantes de las delicias culinarias, espero que hayan pasado un excelente fin de semana. Por mi parte les traigo una receta muy sencilla de hacer y con pocos ingredientes que estoy segura les encantará. Se tratan de unas deliciosas galletas en almíbar con canela, esta receta la aprendí este fin de semana, pues mi hermana me la enseño y quise replicarla. Enseguida les muestro como prepararlas.
Ingredients//Ingredientes
1 cup flour//1 taza de harina
1 cup water//1 taza de agua
1/2 cup brown sugar//1/2 taza de azúcar morena
Pinch of salt//Pizca de sal
Cinnamon//Canela
Oil//Aceite

First add the cup of water to a pan followed by a pinch of salt and a spoonful of sugar and heat thoroughly.
Lo primero será agregar la taza de agua en un recipiente seguida de una pisca de sal y una cucharada de azúcar y dejarla calentar bien.

When it starts to boil, add the flour and stir well to mix everything together so that there are no lumps, remove from the heat and leave to cool to room temperature.
Cuando empiece a hervir se debe añadir la harina y moverlo bien para que se mezcle todo y no queden grumos, bajar del fuego y dejar enfriar a temperatura ambiente.

Once the dough has cooled, put it on a floured surface and knead it for a few minutes until it is mouldable and does not stick to your fingers.
Una vez se haya refrescado la masa se pone en una superficie previamente enharinada y se amasa durante unos minutos hasta que sea moldeable y no se pegue en los dedos.

Next, roll out with a bottle or rolling pin until it is approximately 1 cm thick and cut out each of the biscuits using a mould.
Seguidamente, se debe estirar con una botella o rodillo hasta que tenga 1 cm aproximadamente de espesor y con un molde ir recortando cada una de las galletitas.


In a frying pan add enough oil and when it is hot add each of the biscuits and fry until golden brown on both sides. Once golden brown, remove from the heat, drain well and leave to cool.
En un sartén agregar suficiente aceite y cuando esté caliente ir incorporando cada una de las galletas y freír hasta dorar por ambos lados. Una vez doradas sacar del fuego, escurrir bien y dejar que se enfríen.

Then in a bowl add the sugar with 1/4 cup of water and cinnamon to taste and let the syrup cook until it reaches a point where it does not stick to your fingers when you pick it up. Let it cool for a few minutes and add it to the previously made biscuits. Then chill in the refrigerator for a few hours and they are ready to eat.
Luego en un recipiente añadir el azúcar con 1/4 taza de agua y canela al gusto y dejar que cocine el almíbar hasta que alcance un punto donde al cogerla no se pegue en los dedos. Dejarla refrescar unos minutos y agregarla a las galletas previamente hechas. Luego se llevan a enfriar al refrigerador durante unas horas y están listas para comer.
