My Hive Goals (Week 22, 2025)
This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.
Current State/Other Selection Criterion | Goals Matching the Criterion |
---|---|
Ongoing | 4 (HBD in Savings - 5000 HBD, Social Goals, ZING Accumulation Target: 200k, Golem Overlord - Prestige 30) |
Main Goals | 2 (HBD in Savings - 5000 HBD, Social Goals) |
Goals | 2 (ZING Accumulation Target: 200k, Golem Overlord - Prestige 30) |
HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD
This is a goal inherited from last year, but mostly intended for this year.
Things still look like we might be in the head-and-shoulders pattern scenario I described here, which means, unless it is broken, after some more sideways movement, we should expect another dip for BTC below 100k.
With that thought in mind, I preferred to keep my HBD from author rewards and add them to savings for this goal, despite the drop in the price of HIVE.
Seeing how things played out until now, despite a push higher toward the end of May, I am glad I took a safer approach with part of my crypto holdings for now, anticipating the higher likelihood of this scenario than the bullish one in the short term.
It's not often in the past when I felt it was time to partially take profit (or sell at a lower loss) but I didn't, because the FOMO was too high. Even if the market would go up from here instead of following the stairs down to complete at least the H&S pattern, I'm glad I took action at the right time this time.
Protecting gains or cutting losses are skills that make a difference in the long run for building a sizeable portfolio. And I say this for the perspective, I'm far away from a sizable portfolio, but it never hurts to learn good principles early.
So, this week I added 16.598 HBD to savings, to which 10.765 were added as interest. In total, 27.363 HBD. I have more HBD in savings on other accounts which I don't (yet) count toward this goal for different reasons, but mostly to allow for flexibility in the final months of the bull market.
Current situation for the HBD in savings (+27.353 HBD):
Social Goals
Here are my social goals in 2025:
- posting: at least 350 posts (max 1 per day) in 2025
- commenting: an average of 81.25 comments per week (11.6 per day); this is at the beginning of the year, the average needed will change throughout the year;
- publishing Week through Adrian's Lenses every week of 2025 (hopefully, maybe I can have 1 exception, under special circumstances)
Here's the current situation:
I have 3 days in a row of posting missing when I took my days off, otherwise I posted every day this year. Currently at 43.59% with 42.31% needed to be in the green.
I also started the week with 23,052 comments made. Ended the week with 23133 which means I made 81 comments last week, which is exactly the average needed. I currently need an average of 81 comments weekly to reach my target by the year end.
I published "Week through Adrian's Lenses" news roundup every week this year. Now at the 125th edition.
Golem Overlord - Prestige 30
Started with prestige 20 (and XP 10,544) in week 2.
Here's the current situation:
Current Prestige level: 24
Needed XP to level up to Prestige 25: 57,217
Remaining XP to Prestige 25: 2,946
Days to Prestige 25: ~3
When upgrading to next prestige level, 75% of my XP will be cut, and I'll start over the climb from there.
Started the week 44,451 XP, ended it with 54,271 XP. That's 9,820 XP gained last week. I still need 2,946 XP to level up to Prestige 25. That's less than 3 days, if nothing changes in my pace of converting reputation to XP.
From week 8 I began tracking my Faith level, since starting from 600+ level, it gives a bonus to maximum rep conversion (0.5% per level).
Last week's Faith level: 443.
Current Faith level: 453.
To have have Faith at level 600 at the beginning of Q4 (13 weeks before the year end), I need an average of 8.64 Faith level upgrades per week. This week I leveled up Faith by 10, which was above the average needed.
ZING Accumulation Target: 200k
For anyone who doesn't know, ZING is the token of the Holozing game (currently, it has no publicly released gameplay).
Slow and steady. Everything fine for now.
Here's the current situation:
Started the week with 143,677 ZING and finished it with 149,648. Made 5,971 ZING this week, and I need an average of 1,678 ZING weekly to achieve this goal. I'll very likely reach 200k sooner than the end of the year. I'll think of a higher/different target then, related to Holozing.

Let's hope hive doesn't dump to 0,2 again
I don't think it will... If it does, I'm a heavy buyer.
The FOMO is real and it’s a good thing you are not falling for it.

Yeah, let's see if I can help it if we'll have an alt season this time around. Not so convinced we will this time, but maybe we will...
It’s good to keep your options open sometimes.
Wish you good luck with that
Thanks! Things progress at a decent pace overall.

I think it's good to add some to HBD for now. I don't think there is too much buying pressure unless the Koreans join in. So I think getting some in now isn't a bad idea.
HIVE follows what crypto is doing, more or less, during this period. As you said, unless Koreans have their pumps. So, if BTC dips below 100k, HIVE will continue to bleed along with all the alts. That's not a reason to sell significant amounts of volatile assets, in my opinion. This scenario might very well be invalidated at some point, or we might get an unexpected pump over the summer. In that case, out of volatile assets is probably the worse place to be then.
