Harvests, Elderberry, Sheep Pen Fencing Install, Freeze Dryer Batch 99 Finished, Spuds, 3DP - Wednesday
Mornings are a bit cooler now which is nice despite the days getting into the 90s. I got the handful of squash picked then the few cucumbers that were ready. My barn spider sits in the middle of the web, likely since it is inside and is not worried about getting eaten. Most of the time they sit on one edge and wait for meals.
The spuds got bagged that were on the deck dried from the day before.
I was walking out to the mailbox when I noticed the elderberry tree had lost a large part of its top in one of the recent winds.
I had J go up and pick the berries that were on the downed portion so they didn't go to waste.
I'd been meaning to do it for a while and got to it mid day. The sheep needed the fence run on the original pen where I had to take it down for the trees to be felled. This required hauling fence posts up the hill and then the roll of fencing.
It ended up being about half the height of the hill. I got the posts placed and the fence hooked up at the top.
The freeze dryer had finished earlier but I took a bit to get to it. It took the extra time to get the cucumbers fully dried, largely thanks to the seeds I'm thinking.
Bagged and labeled.
So then I grabbed the post pounder and hit each of the posts. About half sunk really easily and only a couple did I have to work at.
Cool orb spider I saw crawling around.
The fence installed I moved the animals over and closed the gate to the other pen.
The fence goes around the downed trees and in the end not much of the pen was lost.
I had washed my clothes earlier in the day and had them drying on the line.
They headed up the hill and were seeming stoked to have their old pen back. It's a lot bigger but has less growth on top.
Over by the potatoes I was trying to decide on digging more when I saw one of my honeybees on the marigold.
I started poking around the various spots and without pulling up the marigolds managed to get myself 40.5 pounds dug.
It took me a bit to get them washed and out to dry overnight. I will bag them this morning.
7 hour long print for the articulated arm setup.
Got a better soak in.
This morning I have to get the garden stuff done early as we are going to Silverwood today then back for the last kickball in the park this evening.

Sounds like a long day busy day already, my friend Lol!😇
These cool mornings are definitely enjoyable!☺️
Hope you had a good day at Silverwood! The weather was just about perfect. I'm supposed to go on Saturday with daughters and grandkids; hope I survive the heat.
It was perfect today. Not too many people so the lines were short for the rides when we wanted and even the tickets line was empty. We all got our fill for sure.
