3DP, Predawn Grain Run, Rain Wind, PDC, Rest Day - Sunday

I was up before dawn yesterday and on the road to town to get grain. I had checked out the snake print that had finished overnight on the printer and was rather impressed with how well it came out. They take forever thanks to the number of pieces and all the movement the head has to do.

The clouds were just moving off as I headed for town and the winds were seriously blowing. Not a timid wind but a strong wind that was a part of the backside of the storm.

I even got to see the stars as the clouds moved off.

2 barrels waiting and they were both super heavy from the rain that douched them.

Apparently I did not wedge the shovel in tight enough beneath the ramp. I was near the turn to the bypass on my way home when the ramp shifted, the wind blew hard, and the shovel went wanging out of the trailer and landed on the street. I made a trip back around the blocks and managed to find it on the side of the lane.

Stopped for gas as the winds were still pumping pretty hard.

The prior day's storm had dropped .35" in the few hours it was dumping.

The birds and animals all dove into the grain as I shoveled it out of the trailer.

Part of the day was sunny until the rains moved in in the afternoon.

I tried to scale the snake smaller but apparently it's not a good idea as the tail pieces didn't have enough space so are solid for about 12 pieces. Lesson learned.

The Euro PDC finals and Gian won his first major over Humphries. He did amazing most of the tourney and threw some crazy good darts.

I had the red zone on for a while then for the evening put on the Hunger Games movie for the boys to see. I also got this printed out for @stryeyz and her metal etching. It rained for the afternoon and into the evening but stopped near bedtime.

R and I have been to PT this morning and I dropped him at school in time to hit the drop off line. Today will be in the 50s but tonight will be 24F so I HAVE to work in the garden and finish the winterizing. I'll call AAA today to setup my truck's return to the farm.
