In today's world, where everything runs on electricity, consider for a moment what would happen if there was no electricity in the morning or if the power was cut. How scared we would be or how much we would start panicking because everything of ours relies on electricity. Whether it is a fan, an appliance, mobile charging, or drinking cold water, electricity has become an essential part of our lives, without which our modern lifestyle cannot function. It is not just a convenience but has become a daily survival. The importance of electricity is very high in today's world because everything runs on electricity, so we cannot even imagine what would happen to us if there were no electricity.

The most basic role of electricity which gives us comfort is the electricity bill for our home. Every small thing – everything – runs on electricity. Imagine if it is summer season and the electricity goes off; it feels so annoying and makes you angry. On the other hand, if it is winter, the heater is not working, and all these problems arise. So, we have created this comfort zone in our own homes, and it is completely based on electricity.

In today's time, where everyone uses a laptop, mobile or tablet, the internet is used, and everything is a big requirement. But the basic requirement of all these is electricity for charging them. If there is no light, then the work also stops. Entertainment and communication as well: when everything became work from home, the role of electricity became even more questionable. Internet, router, laptop, monitor – everything runs on electricity. If there is a power cut for 1 hour, then the entire work stops. Call settings cannot be done. Files do not get uploaded, and meetings also get cancelled, so just think: if the impact of a short time is so big in your professional and personal career, then how important a role does electricity play in our lives?

The happiest sector is health care. The machines in the hospital – ventilators, oxygen concentrators, ECG, MRI, X-ray, and ICU monitor system – everything runs on electricity. If there is a power cut in an emergency, then someone's life can be in danger, and today's hospitals have backup generators because it is known that power cuts are a common thing and even during the time of COVID, oxygen plates had to be run. Then electricity was their base. Without electricity, the health system will not be able to function.

Electricity also plays a very big role in education because, as of today's date, when so much focus is given to online learning and virtual learning, it all depends on electricity because when we work on laptops or watch lectures on YouTube, how do we do all that where routers are running and electricity is running? And now the trend of digital education has started in those areas as well. But the biggest problem there is that there is sometimes no electricity or it never comes, so the areas which are far away from electricity automatically lag in the development process. Electricity is such a key that the door of education opens easily because today you will see that there are so many free lectures on YouTube in which such good teachers teach; it is a very useful thing.

Electricity of the mind is usable, but it has many drawbacks, and today, to rectify all these drawbacks, we are moving towards green energy. Solar panels are better than wind turbines and hydropower because we know that the electricity demand is increasing and traditional sources are getting limited. Renewable energy is the solution for the future and hence has become a blessing in remote areas and many places. Solar rocky light reaches places where power lines cannot reach. This also reduces pollution. It also increases susceptibility; hence, electricity is essential, but where it cannot reach, solar energy can also be very good there.

It is very difficult to survive without electricity in today's time. Electricity plays a very important role in every field, every home, and every emotional place. It promotes our comfort, progress and excise duty. We should appreciate electricity. We should not miss it. If we conserve energy, we will be able to leave a happy and powerful world for future generations.
