Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 60k Hive.

Last week I made 707.502, bringing me to 48644.452 total Hive Power. That’s 81.1% of my goal! Well… 500 of that was from my wallet. I was impatiemnt and upset that my 207.502 weekly earnings were causing me to still lose ground, so I went ahead and put in 500 of my own money.

But whatever works, eh? So I’m up 700!

Math time. 60k - 48644.452 gives us 11355.548. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 45.8 Hive needed per day to reach 60k by that point.

Finally I’m gaining ground! It was 47.3 last week. Unfortunately on the negative side, without that 500 Hive buy I’m only averaging 28 Hive per day gained organically, so 45.8 is still too high and I’ll be falling behind again next week.

I guess all we need is for me to buy an additional 500 Hive every week to keep making progress. Simple, right?

Second Layer Tokens

On the second layer I still don’t have any goals, but I did buy some DUO. This is a great project that I have supported from the start. I stopped buying it after it increased from .5 to 1 in price, but I’m not sure why… it’s still a steal, just less of one. I may continue to buy some here and there moving forward.

Silver

The silver chart for last week:

Nice bump towards the end of the week! Too bad it started to dip back down before close on Friday. Let’s hope it’s back up this week!
