LEO Premium: A Losing Proposition
I've been skeptical of LEO since I first came to Hive. I tried using inleo.io and the layout was clunky then, just as it is now. Don't get me started on the multiple ideas that have ended up being one rug after another. I decided to try LEO Premium to see if that was at least worth the 10 HBD.

Let's be honest. Most people only care about the curation vote. I tested it over the last few months and it turns out I lost money. Not a lot, but it's certainly not worth 10 HBD to me.
I used a script to look back through the months and added up my part of the curation rewards on every post that leo.voter curated. From January through June, I lost 3.871 HBD.
Remember, Khal still gets his half of the curation rewards already. He also gets the 10 HBD from everyone who signs up for LEO Premium. He makes out pretty good on the deal while everyone else gets the short end of the stick. Then again, that seems to be how every venture of his works out in the end.

I realised that I lost too from premium and stopped paying for it. Plus they're very parsimonious with votes considering the hp from leovoter was delegated.
Right? I get they can't make everyone happy, but it seems like this is just taking advantage of people.

unless you post atleast once everyday and you make many daily threads on inleo, premium would not be effective.
I do not use it because I think it is weird if a bloggers has to be pressured in making daily posts and threads just to get a tiny profit.

Vote buying was once frowned upon and rightfully so, because content should be rewarded if it is good and not if I pay for it, with LEO Premium this abuse came back. But not even this they make right :)

That report I ran goes back my entire history on Hive. It stopped in January of this year because that's when I started testing LEO Premium.

Yeah the writing was indeed on the wall for last 24 months to extreme. I powered down most mt stake & sold at .50 cents in Jan 2025. These pumps took 100X volume increases & were so obviously not legit. Leo itself, I will never understand people supporting there spin off tokens, it’s just fraud & scams.
It feels like a lot of stuff on HIVE is a losing proposition lately unfortunately.
Well, I think part of that is due to the price drop.

Leo was always obvious scammy project. Anyone who invested time or value into it did so to buy upvotes. You get what u deserve.
