Preparándonos para el Año Nuevo, una tarea tras otra. // Preparing For The New Year, One Chore At A Time. [ESP-ENG]
Hola, queridos amigos, os deseo lo mejor en estas fiestas.
La Navidad siempre está llena de sorpresas, pero más allá de las celebraciones, mucha gente, y no solo yo, dedica tiempo a prepararse para el Año Nuevo.
Sé que os preguntaréis qué tipo de preparativos son esos. En realidad, no sé cómo lo hacen los demás, pero en mi familia, antes de que termine la Navidad y nos adentremos en el nuevo año, solemos hacer una limpieza a fondo.
¡Sí! Eso es lo que hacemos, nos tomamos un tiempo para lavar todas las persianas, cortinas, toda la ropa sucia, los platos y desechamos algunos zapatos, ropa, bolsos y todo eso que ya no usamos. No sé quién ideó este ritual, pero de alguna manera nos prepara para recibir el Año Nuevo con un nuevo comienzo, empezando por nuestras pertenencias personales, toda nuestra casa en general y todo lo que necesita tener un nuevo aspecto.
De hecho, lo he hecho tantas veces que ya me he acostumbrado y sigo teniendo que hacerlo. Este año, mis hermanos y mi madre se han ido de viaje y me han dejado sola en casa, lo cual es bastante molesto porque tendré que encargarme yo sola de la colada y la limpieza, y eso no es justo, pero ahora no me queda más remedio que hacerlo.
He decidido que no voy a trabajar en exceso, ya que estoy solo en casa, así que tendré que hacerlo poco a poco, una tarea cada día. He dividido las cosas que hay que hacer y hoy limpiaré el escurridor de platos.
¡Ohhhh! La última vez que levanté ese escurridor fue hace unos dos meses y ¿adivinen qué vi después de levantarlo? Algunas cucarachas, tanto grandes como pequeñas, y todas corrían desordenadamente. Conseguí matar a algunas, pero es hora de ponerse manos a la obra.
Me aseguré de limpiar el escurridor y luego saqué algunos excrementos de cucarachas, sí, estaba tan mal que me alegré de haberme tomado el tiempo para limpiarlo. Lo lavé a fondo, lavé todos los platos que había allí. Secé el estante al sol y se secó, y así, mi estante para platos quedó listo para volver a usarse.
Así que mañana me tomaré un tiempo para hacer otra limpieza y, poco a poco, terminaré antes de que llegue el Año Nuevo.

Christmas are always and indeed full of surprises but beyond the festivities a lot of people and not just me take out time to prepare for the New Year.
I know you would be wondering what sorts of preparation, actually I do not know about others but in my family before Christmas is all gone and we delve into the new year we usually do an all-round cleaning.
Yeah! That’s what we do, we take out time to wash all the door blinds, curtains, every dirty clothes, dishes and we discard some outdated shoes clothes, bags and all of that. I do not know who actually came up with this ritual but it somehow sets our minds to welcome the New Year with a fresh start beginning from our personal belongings, our entire home as a whole and everything needs to have a new look.
I have actually done this a lot of times that it has gotten so used to me and I still got to do them. so for this year, my siblings and mom travelled leaving me all alone in the house, it is pretty annoying because I will have to do all the washing and cleaning alone and that’s not fair but now I am left with no choice but to just do it anyway.
I made up my mind that I won’t be overworking myself since it is only me at home and so I will have to take it bit by bit, one chore at a time every day. I had split the things to do and today I would be cleaning the plates rack.
Ohhhh! The last time I ever lifted that plate rack was like two months ago and guess what I saw after lifting? Some cockroaches, both big and new tiny ones and they were all running helter skelter. I managed to kill some of them but it is time for the work proper.
I made sure that I clear off the rack, I then took out some of cockroaches excreta, yeah it was that bad and I am glad I took out time to do the cleaning, I thoroughly washed it, I washed all the plates that was in there. I dried the rack in the sun and it got dried, and just like that my plate rack was ready for use again.
So tomorrow I would take out time to do another cleaning and with that gradually I would finish up before the New Year sets in.

También acostumbramos hacer limpieza profunda, es una excelente manera de comenzar el año.

En casa lo hacemos antes del 24, es como una especie de maratón tratando de hacerlo todo antes de que llegué el 24 de diciembre jajaja.
¡De hecho! El día 24 es muy estresante porque todo el mundo intenta mantener todo limpio, comprar comida con antelación y hacer bonitas decoraciones. Felices fiestas.
Creo que muchos tenemos esta costumbre para recibir el nuevo año lo mejor posible saliendo de lo que no sirve y limpiando nuestra casa para recibir todo lo bueno por venir.

Las actividades de limpieza nunca acaban en el hogar, es bueno dividirlas y cada cierto tiempo ejecutarla de manera profunda para que se mantenga el orden en todo su esplendor.
me imagino todo lo que encontraste debajo de la cesta de los trastes de la cocina, ya que el agua de por si cada vez que se deposita por días, atrae animales y mal olor. lo ideal es limpiar con vinagre, es una recomendación y te dura mas.
