American Redstart female

American Redstarts never seem to sit still!

This is a female. They flick their tails to flush out insects. The males are more colorful with red-orange tails and patches

Seeing this warbler was a first for me. Most of the seed eaters are frequently seen at my feeders, but Redstarts are busy in the trees eating insects They are constantly on the hunt for their next meal and seldom stay in the same place for long,

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Looks so beautiful, even more when it spreads its wings. Nice photography.

Nice pics. We have redstart around here also. The males are beautiful. When I see orange coloration I always suspect a Baltimore Oriole but usually find a redstart.
