Beat the drum, other than being the drummer in a band where striking the drum belly would definitely announce your existence to the world, it is one of the loudest instrument around the band. with the dong dong dong beats.

Likewise, in every organization, we would definitely see a drummer around, always beating the drum for his/her boss, doing all the "PR" tasks for the department or project for the management so that he / she would eventually become the face of the department and with it gain an upper hand in the promotion list.

They do have a special skill set where most of us prefer not to do, so in a way credit to them too.
