¡Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad de Hive y Street Workout! Espero que todos estén muy bien, chicos. El pasado sábado 17 de mayo en la ciudad de Caracas, estuve presente junto con la familia SWC a presenciar y participar en la 8° Edición de la competencia de Sets and Reps de Símbolos Extremos. Este era un evento muy esperado por muchos atletas de la Ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela. Gracias al apoyo del líder @manuelramos con la blockchain de Hive, el evento fue un éxito. Tenía mucho tiempo sin ir a Caracas, hace 5 años. El evento estaba dedicado a varias ramas del Street Workout, primero teníamos el área de los básicos, es decir las dominadas, burpees, fondos, sentadillas, entre otros ejercicios más.
Warm greetings to the whole Hive and Street Workout community! I hope everyone is doing great, guys. Last Saturday May 17th in the city of Caracas, I was present along with the SWC family to witness and participate in the 8th Edition of the Extreme Symbols Sets and Reps competition. This was a long awaited event for many athletes in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. Thanks to the support of the leader @manuelramos with the Hive blockchain, the event was a success. I hadn't been to Caracas for a long time, 5 years ago. The event was dedicated to various branches of Street Workout, first we had the area of the basics, ie the pull-ups, burpees, bottoms, squats, among other exercises more.
Por otro lado, luego de que se terminarán todas las categorías de la competencia "Sets and Reps" venía lo más divertido. Competencia de estilo libre, lo cual el atleta podía hacer dinámicos y estáticos para quedar en los tres mejores puestos. Yo, en lo personal, opté por participar en la modalidad de repeticiones; tenía dos categorías a elegir: principiante y profesional. Elegí la principiante que era la que más se adaptaba a mi nivel de básicos. Una vez que fue inscrito, pasé a hablar con el organizador del evento para que me diera la franela de atleta y estar al 100% participando.
On the other hand, after all the categories of the ‘Sets and Reps’ competition were finished, came the most fun. Freestyle competition, which the athlete could do dynamic and static to be in the top three places. I, personally, chose to participate in the repetitions modality; I had two categories to choose from: beginner and professional. I chose the beginner, as it was the one that best suited my basic level. Once I was registered, I went to talk to the organiser of the event so that he could give me the athlete's flannel and I could participate 100%.
Me tomé varias fotografías y también tomé en el parque. Esta competencia se había retrasado porque se estaba remodelando el parque. El parque quedó muy bonito, además de que está muy céntrico, tiene baños, un poco de todo. En la siguiente publicación les compartiré parte de mis rondas. Una buena noticia que les puedo decir, es que se clasificó para la última ronda, un paso más lejos de cómo estaba antes en la competencia. ¿Cómo ven el parque? Los leo en los comentarios.
I took several photographs and also took in the park. This competition had been delayed because the park was being remodelled. The park was very nice, plus it is very central, it has toilets, a bit of everything. In the next post I will share with you some of my rounds. One piece of good news I can tell you is that it qualified for the last round, one step further from where it was before in the competition. How do you see the park? I'll read you in the comments.
