An Oldie But A Nice One

Evening folks, tonight I bring to you some nice new silver that I got on my recent return to my new favourite Antiques store near me. It's a little bit of a drive, but it's a great little gem of a shop for sure.
The obverse of the coin: King George V uncrowned
The reverse of the coin: Crowned cruciform shields around a central Garter star
Year: 1920
Value: 1 Florin
Currency: Pound Sterling
Silver: .500
Weight: 11.31 grams
Diameter: 28.50mm
Thickness: 1.95mm

This 1 Florin coin weighs in at 11.3 grams. So I'm assuming a bit of wear and tear on the coin may have lost a bit of weight. The seller tests every piece they sell, so I'm pretty satisfied that this piece is a real one. I used the tools that I have, and it seems to have passed all the tests that I can do myself.
At £6.00 for roughly 5.65 grams of silver, this one was a wee bit on the more costly side. But due to its age and my over-excitement, I let it get the better of me and I had to buy it 😅
Well here's the first one of my recent trip, more will be coming, so make sure to drop in and check out what I bought 😁
