What I Love About Koreans

When we are talking about countries in the world, we will talk about their value, their culture and most of their major career and occupation and to me Korea is one of the countries that has great value and you can always learn something about.

One of the first thing I love about Koreans is how respectful they are. From small children to old people, they always bow when greeting, they use polite words, and they show honor to elders. In my own culture, respect is also big, but in Korea it is like part of their daily breathing.

When it comes to the field of work and career this people am talking about are very hardworking Koreans don’t give up easily. I read many story about how the country was poor back then, but now it is one of the most advanced nation in the world because of their hardworking spirit honestly its is not by luck, it is because the people put serious effort in education, technology and business. Even students, they study day and night, sometimes maybe too much, but it show the determination in them.

I will also say that they are very also like how united they are when it comes to culture. Even with all the modern life, Koreans still keep their tradition alive. For example, in holidays like Seollal and Chuseok, they still wear hanbok, they still bow to parents, they still cook traditional meal. They never forget their culture because of civilization which is still very much pass on for their children.

i also love for their food and the love for sharing it. When you watch Korean drama or if you visit, food is always at the center. They eat together, they share, they laugh. This is similar to my own Yorubaland people, and that connection make me feel closer, embrace and love each other.

The fact there is that, nobody is perfect, every society have their own flaws and shortcomings, but what I see in Koreans is a people that value family, respect, and hardworking life. These are values that make any country strong too. Nigeria is a strong country and as for me, I really love Koreans for these reasons, and I hope one day I can learn even more from them directly.
