Tarantula Loom Everywhere in Soulkeep Battle
In Soulkeep, the solution isn't often diversity, but focus. In one battle, I tried using only one type of tower, the Tarantula Loom, and decided to place it densely in different parts of the map. This meant three copies of the same tower, but in strategic locations. Honestly, the results were much better than I expected.
This tower is very special because it not only hits enemies, but also slows them down and paralyzes them for a short period. This alone is enough to tip the scales in your favor, especially if there are waves of fiends sprinting or trying to breach your defenses. As the fiends approach, the Tarantula Loom's sticky webs catch them and slow them down, giving you a chance to prepare for additional attacks or gather some mana to build more..
The real advantage came when I saw that the three towers worked together like a network. Each one covers a good area, and when fiends cross their coverage, they're slowed and destroyed before they even reach halfway. The specs in the image also show that the tower has a respectable attack range (294) in the battle.
It affects the surrounding area Blast Range 95, and its damage is not insignificant 68 on average. Furthermore, it strikes every three seconds, and the duration it takes to paralyze fiends is approximately 0.41 seconds. However, with modifications like "Stickier Strands," this duration can be increased and become very effective.
I have found this strategy to be very useful on some maps, especially when you know the enemy's directions well. Using three towers of the same type increased the effect and caused each wave to be destroyed before it reached my targets. If you find a tower with a powerful effect, like the Tarantula Loom, do not hesitate to rely on it heavily.
