And now I have also dived into Splinterlands and the purchase of SPS tokens for staking, and at the same time I bought some GLX and GLGT tokens and staked them in the game to qualify for COLONY rewards.

Stake SPS tokens

The truth is, I didn't know that SPS is the Splinterlands governance token, which I've already earned by doing some battles. I honestly didn't know what these SPS tokens were for, but after a lot of reading, I learned they were used to gain voting power for governance and increase the percentage of winnings in battles. I bought very little since I haven't received anything from previous posts yet, so I'm waiting to buy even more.

I also did some battles to see the card battle system, although I don't understand some things very well, I won both battles, but I'm far from being a good player and having a good deck to be able to win those battles.

Stake GLX tokens

GLX is the governance token of the Genesis League Sports (GLS) ecosystem. By staking GLX, players can earn rewards, gain governance voting power, and receive more in-game rewards. As you can see, I bought some tokens to see how they work, and I also bought GLGT.

My conclusion

I know that staking tokens offers benefits and rewards, but I wonder if this is a sustainable system since I've read that in Splinterlands there are no longer the same number of players as at the beginning, nor do you win unless you have a lot of tokens staked. Honestly, I'm going to give it my vote of confidence and I'll join in after a few months. The COLONY tokens are an additional advantage and also make sense if you are an active player of these games, which I am not yet, but I think this game has a great future. I want to play the arcade games Colony Stakehouse Den and Hyperrail Blaster. I suppose staking COLONY tokens is very valuable in the ecosystem, but we already know that if there are no players, this cannot be sustained, so everyone, let's play.
