Return Proposal with 61M HP is a good defense line, but here’s the real question: why should we rely on a passive mechanism to stop DHF abuse in the first place?
You said ‘$250K for marketing without the Hive logo got wasted.’ Well, where was the person who approved that proposal? The problem isn’t just lack of Return Proposal—it’s that there’s no real accountability for voters.
If I use my HP to push through a bad proposal, what are the consequences? Nothing. We just say ‘vote for Return Proposal’ and think we solved it.
Uncomfortable question: if Return Proposal truly worked, why are we talking about it now? Something failed before that we need to vote on it again. Maybe it’s time for an active review system for proposals instead of passive filters?
